It gets a lot of hate because for an expensive niche fragrance it smells like many designer fragrances,I don't care,I like it.

Same situation with PDM Sedley. Although I find that one heavily discounted online, but rarely see Amyris Homme for less than retail.

I get the YSL L'Homme vibe, but to me it smells like Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, but with a large dose of ambroxan added to it. I think it's sexy on a guy, but I find myself wearing it more than my husband does. It's gorgeous. Curious to know your thoughts on PDM Sedley because it's another niche fragrance that has that familiar designer smell, but performance is insane for an aquatic.

Does it smell like D&G the one? in the store it was so green and fresh, baught it and it is smelling totaly diffrent, more like DG the one homme, more brown, heavy, how is it possible? in the store I have smelled it two diffrent times before ordering it and it was a love in first whiff!

may i ask which batch do you have, i mean which year of production? i recently bought a bottle that is 7 months old and its different than the Amyris Homme i used to know. So sad. I loved the scent. The newer formulation seems a lot more grassy and less sweet and fresh at the same time.

maybe , as i compare the older formula and the newer again, the newer is much heavier on the Iris? its kind of hard to tell. i am curious what experienced noses like you would have to say about it :)

@@fauzanjamahat1 i don't know about that. the formulations starting from 2022 are definitely more citrusy at the beginning, less harsh and less synthetic but at the same time less cold and fresh and special as the original one. for me it went from my favourite scent to " i cant wear this "

Extrait is better of Amyris homme. I’ve tested both in carded 2ml vials on different occasions and in different scenarios. The edt is good, but that oud dry down can be a bit much

Agree it’s a hidden gem!! There is an Amyris homme intense that goes harder in the paint! I have had both and prefer the intense version. Nice review as always….

@@winnienguyen4420 their is no intense version. Their is an extrait version and through similar they are different vibes. It’s like the amyris homme but for the colder weather. Has cinnamon and more tonka

Agree. I’ve compared both via official 2ml carded samples. Let’s not get it twisted, the EDT is great. The EDT is great compared to 90% of other frags. Comparing the Extrait vs. EDT is a battle that very few men need to decide. But if you’ve reached this point in your journey of fragrances, then I can agree as well that the Extrait is better. I like the Extrait more because the fresh sparkly opening manages to transition into the dry down. Also the EDT has an oud-like dry down , that the Extrait doesn’t. The extrait = more spicy vanilla, less oud. I’m unsure if oud is even in the EDT. It’s listed as a note everywhere, except on the official MFK site. Isn’t that weird? Whether oud is in the EDT or not, it smells like it to me, and I do not get that vibe from the Extrait. I’d recommend the EDT of amyris homme before aventus because the affordability . It’s only like $140 for a 1.2ml. Which is very good deal for this level of niche perfumery. The EDT and Extrait last all day. Way longer than ace the or Baccarat, however the Extrait is better for me

Why do you wear a masculine fragrance? Just because you’re a lesbian doesn’t mean that you have the right to discreditize a masculine fragrance and make it appear like “it would be normal if a woman worn this”. In this “logic” every perfum targeted to men that to someone might smell a bit soapy or whatever could be worn by a woman ?! That is a wrong thing to do ! Just so you know.
