Despite Amy's demons, I've never seen a performance where she didn't give her all. The tragedy, aside from her death of course, is that she never recorded again in the years leading up to her passing...

At 22 seconds tears starting rolling down my eyes. It almost felt like she was singing directly to us and had so much joy in her eyes. This is just sad man. Regardless of her having drug and alcohol problems GOD blessed her with a voice to share with us and unfortunately shes no longer here but I am forever greatful for the 2 albums she shared. None of us are perfect, we may struggle or have different problems BUT we all have them. Flaws and all, their will never be another Amy Winehouse.

I wouldn't go that far, but drugs & booze had consumed her yet... 2006, it was her genius year though, no doubt... Everything had aligned for Amy. I always say she was her generation's Rickie Lee Jones, Rickie survived though for my generation, gave us some more music. But Amy was incredible, for certain, and I'm the first to admit it, I'm a music snob...

As someone who used to suffer with BPD, I am confident that Amy wouldn't have been satisfied until Blake came back to her. She would have pursued him relentlessly because abandonment is such a devastating blow that the heart cannot reconcile the injury unless the person who walked out comes back. She wasn't kidding when she said she 'died a hundred times'. She did. One thing is for sure, had Amy left Blake she would likely still be alive.
