my favorite live version. i know it's the alcohol, but the slurring, the extra drawl... it adds to the honesty and feeling of the song. the hopelessness you feel when you're at the end of a relationship.

Exactly! An amazing talent savaged by drugs, bulimia and her own demons. I admit I was not a fan of her daily antics, but I came to realize she felt she needed to put out this amy winehouse persona and that damaged her. Apart from all the childhood traumas that she carried.I hope she is finally at peace.

I aspire to be an effortless singer like Amy was. I’ve been binge watching her performances because she just puts out technique and belts with a relaxed straight face. Even going high, it was nothing for her. I’m sorry we failed you, hope we can bring back some type of justice and honor to your name. You were always above and out of this world

You should check out some of her 2004 performances like I think T in the Park, she does some really cool things towards the end, even whistle notes!

Take The Box was already my favourite song from Frank (especially The Mercury Prize Awards performance), when I discovered this one. So, from an obsessed freak ( I managed to digg out 12 or more Amy's live performances of this song, here on KZread) I turned into this London-red-and-purple-plushy-silky-venue zealot! When she cries: "...I came Home this evening a-a-and nothing felt like how it should be-e.....", dear people, that is the single most beautiful moment in Music ever!

I remember watching this and I was blown away. I was a fan of the song prior but never one of my favorites but after hearing this version live. My god! Mind you she was lit af singing this so there was real emotion in every word. One of my favorite performances ever.

The more time goes on and the more Amy videos I watch here on KZread - I feel a mixture of disbelief, anger, sadness and loss. We just will never have another girl with a voice and writing talent like this.....not to mention lots of soul. She was so young but sang older than her years but appealled to all ages. She was a bloody genius & sadly a struggling soul. What a crying shame.

This is so dope. One of the most incredible live performances of all time, and that's not hyperbole.

A true artist through and through... Someone who put every ounce of passion in her work and it clearly shows in this song. This song perfectly embodies the beauty and tragedy of an artist with a gigantic soul but who was also crippled by alcoholism and negative self image. I wish we could go back in time and show her how beautiful she was and how much she was loved and have her truly believe it. We all miss you Amy.

This is an excellent performance by the incredible Amy Winehouse.

I don't know how I feel about Amy's live performances anymore... I mean don't get me wrong beautiful voice, raw emotion... but it's almost like every song is killing her to get through, stirring up emotions, you can tell she loves music and singing but not to perform for other people, it's almost like getting the emotion out, almost like having a good cry, she didn't care about the audience reactlion, applause. Music was a part of how she expressed her emotions and those she mainly expressed where sadness through it, which is good to do from time to time but she was made to do all these shows and it took a toll on her, I almost feel guilty because I wanted more too just as everyone else who loved her music but seems like all this demand was almost like a parasite eating away at her sanity and sobriety where everytime she would preform she had to re-live through all these emotions just by singing these songs again... if I could say one thing to her now it might be "...sorry I did not want to hurt you by wanting more, I just loved your music too much to stop asking for more." RIP
