It’s wonderful to see Amy at the top of her game, before she lost her zest for life. The audience really got into this performance. She was a soul other worldly. Wise beyond her years. Unfortunately, she was a tortured soul, and it was a great loss for, her first and foremost, and for the world. Rest in peace, Amu. There is no one like you. Her songs were really from the heart and her life experiences. I would have loved to see her get her drug and drinking issues under control. They did, but she was an alcoholic sice she was 16 years old. She went from bars to bars her whole life. She refused help at all cost. And this cost was her life finally. She died of alcohol poison. She exchanged her life for 3 botle of vodka at the end unfortunately.

Si lo hicieron, pero ella nunca quiso escuchar consejos. Y hasta despedía, a quienes se lo propusieran. O cambiaba de disquera si esta le exíjía que parara sus drogadicciones o mas que todo su alcoholismo. Pues murio de esto. La pobre era alcoholic desde muchos años atras. Desde la dead de 16 años ella comenzo andar de barra en barra desafortunadamente. Y no había ningun poder que la hiciera cambiar. Nesecitaba un exorcism creo yo. El mensaje para la juventud es muy claro en sus letras y sus videos; "Sigan las drogas, el alcohol y la promiscuidad es bueno, no le hagan caso a nadie y mas que todo rechacen ir a rehabilitación." Aquí la tienen todavía trasmitiendo esos mensajes desafortunadamente.

"Wake up alone" is such a plaintive and haunting refrain. She was so much in her head. I think she needed lots of family around her. Where the hell were her parents? People...you can't bring children into the world and not be emotionally connected to them at all times. When you have a child, your life as you knew it is over. From that point on, your life is for them. Just remember that.

That's true I think Amy's Parents lacked insight, I don't blame them for that but a measure of knowledge into Amy's health conditions since young could possibly have been beneficial? It's too late now, but I'm sure Amy knew deep her Parents loved her, and still do. I have had my share of troubles, now I am an older woman, I have to face the end. I ask God to please keep my Beloved Children safe, happy, healthy and remind them that Mama loves them Forever, even more God loves them Forever and will never leave them. I believe it Dan. I had a similar relationship many years ago (minus drugs), but lots of alcohol and abuse of every kind. I can feel Amy's pain in every one of her songs and feel a connection to her. I understand so much of her pain... even down to the pain of having a father that left.
