I don't know if Amy would like this version despite how beautifully it is put together because... ...well, um...frankly: THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO JUMP OFF CLIFF it's so dang 😥SAD😿😭😥😢🙁😔😦😢. No offense intended. MOST WINEHOUSE SONGS ARE ABOUT EMOTIONAL PAIN, and yes, they are sad stories for the most part, but what I love about AMY so much is that whatever it is that breaks her heart, she openly cries and grieves it. But her SAD is often short lived in her songs which then quickly travel from SAD to ANGERY to WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING to GREATER STRENGTH THAT MAKES HER even MORE OF A *^!BADass!$@* Than she was before the heart break. Your version is BEAUTIFUL! Elegant, hypnotic, technically superior to most, and powerful! Buuuut -- it kinda makes me sad and sadder and crying and weeping loudly with snot pouring out of my nose and --- ...you get it. Perhaps it's just me, but Amy suffered with Clinical Depression and she overcame it with FIRE so that's my opinion. It's terrific but sanitized of Amy's SPUNK, I guess...

Because she didn't necessarily own the rights/all of the rights of the song 2. if she did own all the rights, her death doesn't make the song fall into public domain, it is even more likely her heirs own the rights now THEREFORE this song is still very likely under copyright. It's very easy to check. And I'm afraid here they say "yes, you can use this cover..." but they don't have to right to do it in the first place...
