Cinnamon *is* expensive! I'd recommend using dry dirt instead. If you're crafting at sea without a potted plant and don't have dirt, I imagine cocoa powder would also work well.

Cinnamon is cheap. Dollar Tree, Dollar General etc. Huge container for a dollar. Get out of tge McCormack section and stop paying $6 for 2 tablespoons of it.
