Speaking as a retired corporate executive who sat on the Compliance Oversight Committee of the compliance function, I strongly suspect there is a compliance investigation ongoing despite ABC/Disney’s original assessment that workplace rules had not been violated. What might this investigation look like? Interview of the parties themselves and co-workers, examination of their expense reports and corporate credit card for improper use in furthering the affair, seizure and review of their corporate owned electronic devices (phones, laptops, etc) for review of communications that may violate corporate policy for electronic use policy or careful communications. If there is an ongoing investigation, and I can’t imagine that there wouldn’t be in a corporation of Disney’s scope and scale, it is very possible that they will find reason to terminate for cause. Forensic accounting will look for places where the both were, using corporate resources, and spending corporate money on the affair. If they find any, they will both be toast. This is a real train wreck that Disney will want no part of. At this point, I can’t imagine Disney has any desire to return them to the desk, so they will dig hard to get to the truth and make an example. What I often saw is a pattern of people who do illicit things using other people’s money to do it too.

So sad for their spouses. I have been in that situation of a cheating spouse, my life was devastated and after twenty years it still hurts. It is a hurt and a betrayal that never goes away. There is no doubt they were having an affair before the breakup with the spouses. I don't believe it is respectful or tasteful to be discussing this on national tv. They should both be terminated. Its enough for the spouses to have to deal with this, it doesn't have to be shoved in their faces on a regular basis. Just saw footage of TJ on air with another co-host(ess) from 2015. Guess who is making eyes - - cheeky flirty comments - - obviously pushing boundaries beyond professional on air ! How does the GMA network not have access to his previous "work". They never should have opened the door for this junk slinging shaking neck breaking to get the pretty ladies eyes !
