When Amy sings this song I think back to a Christmas when my children were little, and my wife and I were young, and my father was still with us. With a blink of an eye children grow up and parents pass away. Cherish the times when your children are young and you still have your parents. I did not appreciate these times until they were gone. As she sings I close my eyes and smile of better times.

Truly priceless. One of my all-time favorites for the holidays.

Ahhhhh!!!! She has been my role model since I was very small. I love that she struggles with being an "average" guitarist. I've played for years and am still average, as well. I think that she did a beautiful job, and as long as her heart is there, then it's all good. I love how she goes from strumming to fingerpicking like that. Fingerpicking is my favorite style to play. :) This song is so true and its message NEEDS to be spread. We ALL need a silent night.

at our church, i have to sign the part that the little girl says. Only some of it tho. I memorized the entire part i have to sign so i am just waiting till i think 3 weeks to do it. idk if i will do good but i will try. Beautiful song amy grant!
