Amur Falcons and their Nagaland halt
Every year Amur falcons take a long journey covering many countries including China, Mongolia, Russia and India to reach Somalia. In India, their last pit stop is Pangti, a small village in Nagaland. However, their stay in India has hit quite a few speed-breakers.

Tourism should be decided on the basis of its impact on the flora, fauna and local communities of the region. It should be sustainable.

Their lots of Amur falcon specially during winter the halt of Amur passes though Arunachal Pradesh Longding district .

Awareness is not enough for us.. We always need strict laws and enforcement
It is sad to to hear that people are still hunting these poor birds. In 2019, around 10 Amur Falcons were satellite tagged. Of these, one was shot dead before it left Manipur. Some others were untraceable. Only two with satellite tags have reached back.
Wherever I see, I see violence, hunger for more
