As a general observation on YT, videos of people doing something specific in a place have usually much more interesting to show about that place than videos with that place as the subject.

The edit on this was nuts ! ! Brilliant video

PLEASE do more with this edit/style! Was a breath of fresh air

yo the voice over in this hits different to any other nash video, it feels like a old school british movie. top work lads

Hi, I lived in Holland for nearly 3 years and it took me a while to get the one vital piece of info you are missing - I fished Rotterdam in the winter/Spring and many carp travel through the canal systems to overwinter in the cities, because the water is a few degrees warmer and stable temperature. I'm surprised you didn't get help from any Dutch carp anglers? There's only one place you need to look for and that's Bridges! Dutch carp anglers pioneered canal and bridge fishing and there are/were specialist rods made just for this purpose, being 14ft long so you can walk up on the bridge and cast underneath them! I found another way round this using my 12ft rods and that was to cast at the bridge wall and 'bounce' the lead off to get under the bridge. It's no good fishing the bridge entrance as that's where all the bikes and shopping trollies are.. you need to put your bait UNDER the bridge. It's easy to get takes there but getting them out past the rubbish thrown over the bridge is the hard part. Very exiting fishing though. The hardest part is finding a concrete swim that allows accurate casting. This is the way Dutch anglers do it who live in the cities or alternatively find a park lake with anglers on it.

This water system is even bigger then you guys think. Exually its connected Whit the whole country and river system. There are stock carp that been caught back and matched Whit our database. The travelled more then 300km!!

There is loads of carp in the canals and big ones too in Amsterdam and all its waterways leading in and out of the city, and most spots are not hard fished or not fished at all. Its just an overkill off possiblities, so do love to see that beautifulll mirror carp turning up and for open water that is giant! The Seine in Paris next time??
