That is brilliant. I remember playing Gran Prix 1 and 2 back in the early 90s. This is like a mega-super update of that. Looks insanely good. i recognized so many of those helmets from the era.

These cars are so much fun to drive. I think those are my favourite cars in AMS 2. Especially in VR.

Nice video, Owen. The Hi Techs are the best F1s for slow coaches like me. Also, gagging for a Labbats tinnie, a Camel tab and a gallon of Castrol. Dunno why.

Good to see that Reiza has implemented adaptive AI to the sim. Proof of this is the AI crashing on the last lap, something they clearly learnt from you.

When they called it a skin pack, it does it a bit of a diservice really. It's the full monty, and the AI additions is what really struck me with the mod. Mind you judging by the 90 and 92 F1 skin packs they have given us I sholdn't have been surprised at the quality of. Nice to see them get a bit of a show case too. 🙂

@@hereward1971 They really have put a lot of work into, and as you say in the video you can actually "feel" the driver AI behaving differently to the others, how they've done only knows but it is bloody good

This mod is fantastic ya. Also turned TC to '2' Owen but totally burned up my rears! These things just stick to the track!

I just wayched you vid.......literaly 30 minuets after posting mine.......I have left an apology in the comment section, would have hit one of the others if I'd have known! Apology out the way.........sorry again........I did see you lighting the rears up out of a few bends, you were pushing harder than me at 117% LOL plus I was on hards, to excited to see what tyres were on offer, got the DLC (after the mod) and jumped in, think I've had too many e numbers today LOL

@@hereward1971 haha absolutely no issues this pack deserves a lot of attention! I’ve highlighted their work in the past for the ‘90 and ‘92 packs. Amazing talent and effort put into those skins/driver outfits.

The only thing that keeps my interest in the various mod cars at pretty much zero is that they can't have their own correct engine sounds but have top use existing engines from the game. So for the moment "skin" packs like this one are much much higher on my list

Have you tried IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Starlin Grad, WW2 flying game, Brilliant for what I tried, Massive, A historic WW2 game that is fantastically done, Even using the mouse to fly the plane is top, And it is not easy to shoot other planes in a dog fight, Not going to lie had a little dizzy one last night a few seconds of Oh no, lol, But my VR legs started running OK after that, I found taking the VR off when you get icky feeling, Will make it worse, You just got to ride it out, lol, But yeah IL-2 Sturmovik is on offer for 8 pounds at the moment, It is why I sent this, I think you might like IL-2 Sturmovik, The spitfires I have not tried yet, I think those is in a DLC, Battle of Overlord, I think it is DD day, I would say it is well worth the 8 pounds it is now, lol, I am going to explore a bit more later, If I had more memory on my PC I would do some vids for you tube, Is it easy to set up the streaming stuff, But yeah I needs a new Motherboard with more than one M.2, I made a mistake of not realizing I would end up needing more than one M.2, What Intel 12th Gen MOBO is the best for around 120-150 pounds with more than one M.2, I am not very good with Motherboard knowledge, lol... Yeah the IL-2 Sturmovik VR WW2 game is pretty good, I think you might enjoy it your self... Let me know if you do get it, I would like to know what other people think of it, And it ain't just me that thinks it is a top flying game for VR.....

@@hereward1971 Yeah I watched some vids on it, I never knew it was so old, And some of the levels like the Normandy one took 3 years to create, Now that is deep passion, lol, I love that it is based on the real battles, Effectively seeing what it would of been like for a Pilot during WW2, Even the WW1 planes is on their, Gutted the Quest controllers don't work with it, You needs a Joystick, I hear it picks up the Hotus, But yeah I love that it is real life History and educates you on the Battle's, I had to stop watching WW2 docs because they started to trigger nightmares, With some of the images that is in the docs, I think I can deal with Docs like Secrets of war so this WW2 shouldn't be triggering for me, shooting planes down with your plane is more skill than anything else, I bet the Spitfires was amazing to fly, The sound of the Engine, Merlin isn't it or Rolls Royce, i might look that up again, Nobody can deny though the Spitfire is an amazing looking plane, And also revolutionary, Being able to fly that tiny bit higher, Plus the Spitfire opened the doors to Aerodynamic bodies on a plane lol, You could say was then figured out that the same thing would be great for a Race Car, lol, I wonder now what the first race car was that had Aerodynamics body first implemented, Coz at first all race cars was bath tubs with a big V12 Engine on the front, And with a petrol tank making the car a little bomb if the wrong crash happened, No seat belts because it was faster to escape, lol, Balls of steel, Even the F1 cars from the 80's F1 drivers had balls, lol.... But yeah it is amazing to see a game like IL-2, And the DLC packs is a bit cheaper at the moment, I say a bit, By a lot, lol... Amazing how these games is that old, But still rocks like the new games, It actually do show how CEO's have become crazy rich from console gamers lol, And bit like the Dirt Rally series, F knows what happened after Dirt Rally 2, What I do know is Dirt Rally turned into an Arcade Sim Racing game, lol.... I am going to do some AMS2'ing a bit later too, But I will have an hour or two on IL-2 first though, It is a shame World of Warships isn't VR, I would be on that a lot of World of Warships was VR, And you could run around the ship, VR would bring World of Warships alive, Controlling the Anti Aircraft guns, Working in the Engine rooms, So many things can be done with World of Warships in VR, I seen the WW2 UBoat or sub game in VR, Iron fist or something I forget it in my wish list loI might grab it next month, I read some good reviews on it.... IL-2 looks massive as well, Looks like there is missions for months on IL-2, So when are we going to see an IL-2 video from you, Be great to see you showing how to do some of the missions, I bet IL-2 is far better with a hotus or a joystick, I might have to get the Logitech pro joystick again, Ironic I bought one for my PS4 few years ago, It never worked on the PS4 gives it to my Nephew and now I could use it, lol, I will grab another one in few weeks, Might even get a used one off Amazon, I hear Amazon sells decent used stuff as well, But a Joystick would be a lot better in IL-2 I guess, But the mouse isn't that bad, People who made IL-2 should be proud of putting that together, The fact it is historic to the day, Is actually pretty staggering, I bet every WW2 gamer has IL-2 in their collection, The Reiza of the WW2 world, Plus some people go nuts for WW2 collectables, Some rich ass mofo's even buys tanks from WW2 for millions, There that British block who restores WW2 vehicles on TV, Sorry I forgot the dudes name, Sad coz it is a good little show... But yeah this is a fantastic WW2 flight Sim game....

I only sorted the Race department account out, And thought I might as well pay for the premium years worth, But damn I still cannot figure out where the actual download link is, I still can't figure out do the Content Manager because I can't even see the download link, Was driving me mad the other day, Why isn't it just download and the cars go straight into your AMS 2 game, I have payed for a premium account on Race department and still can't download and install mods, Where is the download link to on the Race Department, I might have another look shortly, But yeah these F1 cars has brought a person like myself who really isn't an F1 fan into a F1 fan, And in VR these F 1 cars is amazing to drive, AMS 2 got these looking amazing in VR, It is a weekly time trial on AMS 2 these cars, I got all these DLC's, I got all of AMS 2 apart from Monza, I never really been a fan of Monza, Though I do like the old Monza with the big curve turn thing, I also find with open wheeler cars you can learn a track a lot faster, So if you having issues with a track in a GT3 car lets say, Jump in one of these 90s F1 cars for a few hours on the track you having issues with, Then jump back in the GT3 cars, You should be faster, If you isn't, There is an issue with your driving skills, lol,.. I might even have a little blast in these later, I got 15th place on the Nordsiliefe in the McLaren MP4, Fantastic around the Nordsliefe, I want to get in the top ten at least, lol, I think everyone who is a Sim racer wants the top spot on the Nordsleife, Masive dream to race on that track, I almost fell in love with Sabine coz of the driving skills around the Nurburgring 24hr, I loves seeing chicks blip past blokes, Like this Rally Driver from the 80s, kzread.info/dash/bejne/mHt3spmin9mxmsY.html , She says the cars was easier to drive in the Group B, lol.... I can't go on my VR until I squashed a fly that has flew in, No way could I VR with a fly buzzing around, Urrr having a fly landing on your lips while you Sim Racing in VR, lol, And now the Summer is coming, Going to have to invest in some sort of Air conditioning, I hate the Summer, I would much rather the Winter or Autumn, I can't stand hot weather or the heat as it is, VR in a hot room is not going to be fun, Any Air conditioning hacks that you know of let me know, lol, The few VR haters will have something to actually diss VR for, lol, I actually seen a video of someone putting VR in a really crap light, lol, I still scratch my head wondering why someone spends a fortune on a High End PC, i9 with a 4090, Really expensive Sim Racing equipment but no VR headset, lol, I can only imagine what Sim Racing on an i9k and a 4090, Even the Quest 2 would be bad ass, lol, And with the Elite strap I got, I can wear the Quest 2 for hours... Yeah I am going to do some 90s F1 tonight as it goes, I want that top stop lap time lol, Can only keep trying, If I was on it 12 hours a day though, lol, Would you even Sim Race for 12 hours a day, lol, I know I wouldn't, Be different if it was a Real Race car though, I would live to do a proper endurance race, I bet you needs to be as fit as a pro marathon runner to hold your own for 6 to 12 hours in a race car, The G forces would take it's toll, I seen Nando finally won something the other day, lol, He deserves it though I will say that much, Damn I bet life is shit hot at the top spot of F1.....

@@yhaustein38 I realized that when I looked properly, Might of been the excitement of having a new car on AMS 2, And I still have not installed any, lol, I do know now though, I got to start spending more time Sim Racing, I been slacking lately, lol, Nor I am tricky mental health issues at the moment, Sort of destroys your motivational spirit so to speak, Mental health is not a joke to live with though, And I started Sim Racing to help with my mental health, It was helping me at first Sim Racing, I am just having energy issues, But I will be stepping into some comps in few weeks now I can hold my own on a track, Sometimes that is, I was thinking of just giving iRacing a try, Putting some money away and paying for 6 months in one, But iRacing is well expensive if you is struggling, I can only imagine how much money iRacing brings in So why not give back to people who cannot afford iRacing, But then it is meant to stop crap sim racers racing with bad ass sim racers, lol...
