They have stop making this kind of decent, family oriented movies which you can sit and watch with family. Rajshri was the best production company, wish they could make more movies like this 😢❤

Streaming services and mass production have all but killed the family movies like what Rajshri used to make... There's just no money to be made anymore unless it's a big budget masala movie like Pathan and all. It's sad.

Besides the playback singers, the main credit for the music goes to the music composer who was the legendary 'Ravindra Jain ji'. He is a great musician.

Amrita Rao deserves so much more. She refused to be in-house forYash raj heroine only because of "obscenity". It was her choice and I so respect her for that. However, the industry dynamics changed and everyone wanted the actress to have a skin show. I am happy she never did that because she wasn't comfortable. AMRITA RAO, YOU ARE A GEM.❤🦋

Poonam was educated, she was asked to complete her further studies in Delhi by her in-laws, it was also decided that she will join the family business after her marriage, poonam married on her own will, after meeting and talking to the guy, poonam decided everything for herself in the movie, not because she was asked to - and yet the reviewers called her character regressive....you know why? because they think that following our culture is regressive! Never listen to english and modern media who review such golden movies.

Vivah was a good film. :) I can understand some people calling it regressive, but it wasn't so. It highlighted our tradition and culture with which a lot of the modern urban elite are simply out of touch. It wasn't a perfect story by any means, but had a strong cast and good intentions behind it.
