This channel is like Woodworking for Mere Mortals + MCM. I'm digging it. If I ever take my car in to get audio work done, this is the kind of attention to detail I can only dream they'd have.
I started watching an hour ago for a few tips on gaps. This is great info.
One of your best videos. I love how you shown how to match the curves and create non-template cuts.
I wish I could find someone here in the Netherlands who can deliver such craftsmanship as you for my car! Respect
You're assume learning so much from you ,thanks keep it going
I really like all the "tricks" you show. Especially the ones with common shop tools and supplies we all would have. Not knocking the mobile solutions plethora of goodies you use, its awesome to see those tools put to use too. But for just the hobbyist like me, learning how painters tape can be used to make an accurate template like that is invaluable. Thank you for all your work and effort in making these videos Mark.

im away waitting for you upload more video to lean and get more experience
U should get a router manufacturer to sponsor u, u have convinced me to buy one I hope I can afford some mobile solutions templates soon u r a very talented guy, even tho u use your brain over honed in skill but u r good and living the dream if u ask me great video and hope to see more soon
awesome videos! Any videos about motorization with a linear actuator, maybe to lift an amp rack or something? Just thinking out loud, keep the awesome vids coming you the man!
мдф самый классный для автозвука!
Great job, Mark, once again. I would say you are going to do something with acrylic with the space on top. Just my guess. :)
That looks just swell Mark. 😋

+Destiny is Life thank you thank you. :P
I'd love to see you build a box for the subwoofer inside that compartment instead of an amp rack. I plan on doing that with either one 10" or one 12" for my 2 Door Jeep Wrangler.
I see a few of your videos i like them, i have a question how could i make amp rack to my back driver seat i know i could use wood but what else and how much of a thickness of it should i go and what type of screws can i use ??
Very clean........ what kind of router and lift are you using?
Mark do you have videos showing any builds doing a moveable amp rack on tracks or motor ?
Thanks for checking out the video! Any guesses on why I left a recessed area on the top of the beauty panel? Have a good rest of the week. :)

So when you vinyl or carpet it, you can make those perfect cuts!

LEDs! 8-)
Is there any chance you could make a copy of this without the viewing windows? This seems like exactly what I want to do with my jeep. Another awesome video!
my guess guess for the trim ring is for a recess to put a polycarbonate or acrylic sheet for decoration
how about frontsubwoofer build ? i build box in my passenger side footwell :)
Do you think to install an aftermarket head unit?
As an owner of a '07 Unlimited Rubicon... I'm watching this closely. With that in mind.... are you intending for the base of this cover to be easily removed so that the owner can access the jack?
what is the brand of your table top router and the table?
Trim Ring is for lights! 😏
Hey mark, only tool i didn't see is the flexible clear template?

Negative. I am not talking about the holes above the amps and processor, these will have the edge lit acrylic I mentioned. Why would I have the recessed area for the overall amp rack piece... the part that i refer to as the "perimeter trim ring"? There is a point to it other than just adding shape. :) :) :)
you should consider actually linking in the description all the things you say you have linked in the description
I bet your "perimeter ring" is for another panel to hide everything to make it hidden and stock like. pop the second panel and you can see your system.
the sub box is gonna sit in it.
Carpet for a 3D look.
mesh...
