Amplifier Beauty Panel - HIDE THE WIRING! - CarAudioFabrication

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

An amplifier beauty panel is a great way to hide the wiring around your amplifiers and DSP yet highlight the gear. In a custom car audio build this beauty panel really helps to highlight the install. Let’s take a step by step look at how it is done.

This channel is like Woodworking for Mere Mortals + MCM. I'm digging it. If I ever take my car in to get audio work done, this is the kind of attention to detail I can only dream they'd have.

I really like all the "tricks" you show. Especially the ones with common shop tools and supplies we all would have. Not knocking the mobile solutions plethora of goodies you use, its awesome to see those tools put to use too. But for just the hobbyist like me, learning how painters tape can be used to make an accurate template like that is invaluable. Thank you for all your work and effort in making these videos Mark.

I'd love to see you build a box for the subwoofer inside that compartment instead of an amp rack. I plan on doing that with either one 10" or one 12" for my 2 Door Jeep Wrangler.

Negative. I am not talking about the holes above the amps and processor, these will have the edge lit acrylic I mentioned. Why would I have the recessed area for the overall amp rack piece... the part that i refer to as the "perimeter trim ring"? There is a point to it other than just adding shape. :) :) :)

I bet your "perimeter ring" is for another panel to hide everything to make it hidden and stock like. pop the second panel and you can see your system.
