This was a quick and dirty shoot with my phone, hence the bad lighting and crappy audio. I will be shooting a proper video with good lighting and me wearing a LAV mic. It will also be more in depth, as I will be getting more done on it this weekend. Who knows, might even try to play a tape.

Know any Ampex engineers that would like to travel to Greece and service/repair two Ampex VR2 machines?

According to the notes that came with the machine, they only have about 125 hours on the set, since they where last refurbished. Although if 50's through mid 60's tape was being run through it, that may be about all the life they have.
