People still are, honestly it's awful that people are so scared of being tricked that they will den y almost any hardship someone they dislike as "fake" people really need to learn why "innocent until proven guilty" is a thing, there are very small downsides to believing this if it was fake and those are nothing compared to the downsides of denying it when it (most likely) is true. Sorry I wrote a while paragraph, I just got upset that people are unwilling to even try to believe it despite all the evidence.

I just find it strange and confusing that he would use donating some money to charity as a threat. (After all, donations to charity give the rich huge tax breaks.) Early in the video Charlie says she makes like $2million a week. What kind of threat is "I'm gonna burn less than half a week's profits on some charity for pigeons"? Why would that scare her? She would make it back with interest instantly. Why would $750k make them unable to make a downpayment if she's making so much every month? I get that the issue is him trying to blackmail her, but that's a very odd way of going about it. Tbh I do not understand what would stop her from leaving him, aside from emotional baggage perhaps. Even if he wanted half her money or something, she makes millions, surely cutting him loose would still be preferable. I get that abusive relationships are difficult to break away from, but why, with all the modest or good men out there in the world, would she be okay with living in the same house as someone unhinged like this who will connivingly try to ruin her life and finances the literal second she stops giving him her undivided attention? Just leave, she could afford to live anywhere, any man of better moral fiber would die on their sword for a woman like Amouranth even if she made no money at all. Charlie acts like it is completely unfathomable that any part of this could be exaggerated for profits and subs, yet has he not made a career out of mocking scandals about people faking things for profit? People stage things all the time. I don't think she is faking that she is unhappy, but his threats and rants just seem so cartoonishly evil and because he isn't onscreen during this, his real life will likely have very few actual consequences for this, while she will gain a ton of sympathy subs on Twitch, OF, etc. And also, this is one of the only ways it could come out publicly that she is married that still leaves her seeming like a vulnerable woman who is in need of those noble whiteknights, now to protect her from a sham marriage (in their minds) where she is 'trapped' in the marriage and would love them if they could 'rescue' her from her evil husband.

My father was that way sometimes I wouldn’t hear him or my mom wouldn’t and he would just EXPLODE. One time I remember him walking out and saying good morning to which I responded good morning. He didn’t hear me, and he dragged me up by my arm and screamed at me for, “not properly greeting him.” I feel sooo beyond bad for her. Something similar happened to me where me and my sister was playing with bubbles in the bathroom and we were laughing at our dad I forgot why but I was like 4-5 years old. When we got out so he can use the restroom we were in my grandmas room. Then when he left I went back to get the bubbles but on my way their he was near the entrance to downstairs so he looked at me and said “come here” then I did and he grabbed me and starting running towards my moms rooms and threw me on the bed and complained “they were laughing at me and I saw tiny bubbles in the bathroom.” Don’t remember everything but that’s basically the gist of it

I just escaped my ex 7 months ago he was like that and I have two kids one of them was his son. But it got to a point where we were scared every moment of the day for almost a year straight. Now I’m in counseling and suffer from ptsd and depression and extreme anxiety. One time I was trying to leave him and he held me hostage in his room and when I tried to scream for anyone to call the cops he gagged me with a washcloth yeah & that was not even the worst of what he’s done to me. I’m convinced some ppl are truly evil without having a backstory that made them that way.
