Saw Amos in Lafayette, LA recently and when he started to sing he and his phenomenal band blew me away. This may be my fav all time song w my fav all time message which still applies in today’s world. That said, and my first impression, I’m missing some of the major 7 and minor melody parts that Marvin arranged, but, Amos could sing an accident report and it would sound incredible. My 2 cents for what it’s worth. Maybe it will grow on me, and I appreciate the arrangement nonetheless ❤️

After hearing this from Marvin it takes a little getting used to but Amos,has got it

Wow, it takes some real guts (to put it discretely ;) ) to cover this classic. As a big fan of the original, I was somewhat apprehensive to listen to it, but I must say it's a great tribute! I also recognise some chords/transitions of 'All my Friends'. Nice. Admittedly, it took me a little while to get used to the belting style of the final choruses, but I'm liking it better every time I listen to it. I also appreciate the sentiment: in a way, this is a title that needs to be shouted out for it to make sense. One thing: can anyone tell me if this deluxe edition will also become available on cd? (Yes, I still buy those! :) )

Timely A. And the people who are actually qualified to answer that question (in love and without bitterness) are hardly ever the ones who are invited to speak on it on a large scale.
