The growling from this man is class A! And so are his clean vocals. I'm in love, that voice! Ans the song itself.... WOW! I'm proud of my neighbor Finland!

The last show I saw before covid was an Amorphis concert. Feels like a lifetime ago.

Awesome reaction! Queen of Time is one of my FAVORITE albums to come out in recent years, it has a really unique atmosphere. For a mostly clean singing song off this album, "Wrong Direction" is really good!

Daughter of Hate is my favourite song on this album. For a more Celtic vibe, Tree of Ages from their previous album, Under the Red Cloud, is worth checking out. Glad you did The Bee though :)

there is no other band like Amorphis, you cant compare to any other - i love all their music, and Tomi Joutsen the singer is my very favorite singer

Tomi Joutsen saved this band with his vocal style. Before that they were of course very well known band in Finland but with Tomi’s growling style they kinda went back to roots mixed with more folk and progressive style

Tomi Joutsen is definitely one of my favorite singers. For two reasons, his clean vocals and growling. Normally I don’t like growling very much, but I find him interesting as a user of that style. And his songs are also very recognizable, his own style. The story of this song is inspired by Finnish mythology. Where the bee (in this song) restores life to the already dead. If you noticed the word "Tuonela" in the song, it is a Finnish word and it means the land of the dead. Where do people go after they die. And so this is about bringing the dead person back to life, where the bee acts as a mediator of life between heaven and "Tuonela." Next Amorphis? From 2007, song "Silent Waters" (official video).
