Tell me about it, i am deeply sorry that i havent known the band before 3-4 years. Accidentally i saw a facebook cover from a concert of Amorphis and i said to my self - LETS CHECK THIS ON KZread... Bro, i cried...i missed a lot, a lot and the pathetic thing is that i am listening to rock/metal from more tthan 15 years... Never mind...gladly i am here... Tomi is the most underestimated singer of all time... There is NOT EVEN ONE GUY that can switch vocals that good as he does. MASTER!

I’ve never understood why people need to say thing like guy is the most underrated this and that. Tomi Joutsen and Amorphis as a band is not underrated. They’re actually loved all over the world, but you have to be realistic this kind of music is not for all. For us metalheads this is pure gold. Let’s be gratefull that they’re making new music and we get to see them touring. 🤘😎

I agree wholeheartedly,this band is amazing. This is the first song & album i ever heard and i was hooked. When i heard Karelian Isthmus i was blown away,i have been hooked and every album is unique in it's own way. The very first album with Tomi & 1 of my absolute favorites with Elegy & Tales from the Thousand Lakes

+Paavo Niva I'm a huge fan of Finland ;) Although Amorphis are good, your OSDM bands (Purtenance, Demilich, Demigod...) are even far better :) Not to forget, Mika Häkkinen (F1 world champion with McLaren Mercedes in '98 and '99) will forever be my childhood sports idol ;)

I could see you putting an argument for Amaranthe or something, but Amorphis is damn smack-dab Heavy Metal. Early on, it was Progressive/Death/Doom, now it's more like Melodic Heavy Metal, but they still growl and have all the associated lack of brain-dead visual imagery of butts and tits that the Pop genre has adopted.

Now Amorphis is better than they ever were. This is a true killer track. The whole album kicks ass. If you have the chance to catch them live, don´t miss out.

I just love this Band's synths. They're so distinct, and sound so mysterious and magical. The guitars also have this amazing texture sometimes, not to say that anything else this Band has to offer is any less sublime

I came across this by accident on Spotify all these years later and that feeling you get when recognizing ancient mastercrafts is something special.. I remember I caught this music video on MTV at its period. So cool to be back.

Dr Redpill i only like one album, Tuonela and also, am universum, rest is crap for me. Tuonela is pearl. I dont like them death doom metal albums, Finland's death metal is what it is, Florida is best about a death metal, most skill!
