The peak of Amon Amarth as a band. Not a single groove that's not as tight as the guarded gates of Valhalla on this album. And when it wants to sound sinister, Arson & Where Death Seems to Dwell, it does a damn good job.

It took me almost 10 years to appreciate that song. I would always just switch. I finally listened to it and told myself I will never do tha again to a song. Hhahaha. Seasons In The Abyss(song, not album) took me about 3 or 4 years to finally listen through and fell in love.

Horns up & all praise Oden 🇸🇪🤘love this band's sound 🖤

This one sounds more depressed and melancholic compared to their other albums.

Its a sequel to arson, the main guy in that song then hunts down the people that burned down his village, he made a blood pact that whoever escaped would get revenge.

I think this ones is my fav album by them.

What a weird situation, I've always thought that the riff from 'Beheading of a King' sounded a lot like the riff from 'Once Sealed In Blood'. 😆

The only thing I don't like about this album is the kick drum sound. Way too loud and without any 'punch'. Other than that, really good album.

This is why I love this album somewhat , the production adds a mystical effect that the new albums lack severely
