You can tell pewds feels so akward and conflicted playing this because he remembers all this stuff and what he would say and do but he’s also changed so much and he doesn’t want to pretend to be that person. He obviously feels weird when he talks about the chairs and sees the barrels etc. Its kind of amazing how you can see him going through so much nostalgia.

I really love how Sive puts clips of the ye old times to see the comparison between the two pewds. Maybe you should give him a raise Pewds: *arches an eyebrow* "That's cute"

Pewds, I just need you to know - when i was twelve or however old, back in the day, I would make myself a big buttery bowl of popcorn to sit down and watch you with. Now, every time i smell melted butter or buttery popcorn, it takes me back to the good ol days. I just thought of an interesting mechanic for a horror game. There are three light levels, bright, medium, and dark. In the dark, no monsters, but it is hard to see, in the light monsters but they aren't super dangerous, and in the medium light level, the monsters are extremely dangerous. This makes an interesting dynamic with a toggleable light source like a flashlight. The dark is safe, but you can barely see anything, but when you turn your flashlight on the area around is now medium, you can see enough to look for things, but the monsters are extremely dangerous and are able to detect you. This would also have failsafes so it cannot be cheesed, like if you toggle your light on really fast so the monsters can't get you, this will be countered by the monsters being attracted to flickering lights. It isn't a perfect idea and can definitely be improved upon, but I thought it was a cool concept.

i love the little anecdotes while it loads... a fragment of a haunting tale, captured in small paragraphs, yet so chilling... a boy being urged by his peers to kill someone with a rock, the allusion to child abuse, the obligatory guilt felt by someone who's abandoned their loved ones... it really adds to the game's atmosphere, even in the most minuscule of ways

Man such a blast from the past. This video game series with pewds literally was the flood gate to youtube, horror games, and other gamers. Watching this gave me so many fawn memories of watching this in middle school, late at night with my friends.

I think the reason pewds has been number one for so long is BECAUSE of how genuine he always is/was. In a platform full of people lying and blowing everything out of proportion from the beginning, it's always comforting to sit and watch this goofy dude and know you don't have to try and decipher truth from fiction. He really helps put my faith back into KZread, and that all goes the same for his relationship with Marzia. Just total genuine fun and care. I always thought the idea of Internet role models was comical and dramatic, but I think I'm just now realizing that that's what he's been for me since middle school. This is why pewds is number 1. He has ALWAYS stayed true to himself and his fans. I hope that by some off chance he reads comments and sees this, because he doesn't get half the credit he deserves.

i don't know why but this actually brought tears. re-watching this and seeing him make all the references as he remembers his younger self. seeing him smile kinda like he's a kid again and times were simpler. starting to watch him when he first started playing and seeing him now is heartwarming to how much he's grown

I'm just happy that pewds is finally playing a game he genuinely enjoys... I think there are very FEW people who truly understand how fun it must be for him to come back to an old game that he loved. I came back to a very old game after 10 years and just this feeling of nostalgia and reminiscence you get as you re-play the game ... it's awesome. Nevermind the fact that previously i didn't even finish the whole game, although i did love it more than anything. edit: ty for likes, feed me more, my babies.

I loved the environments, the story, designs, and especially the narration. Voice actors do a wonderful job at taking you somewhere else and immersing you there. The simplicity is what I loved as well. Very unique game. Nothing like it.

Fan from the very beginning pweds sometimes i rawatch all the old videos to new ones. I love you pewds keep up the good work we are all proud of you.

It's so good to see how much Pewds has grown as a person in his maturity and his confidence, especially when reflecting on his old videos. Yes, I was one of those who would compare old Pewds to new Pewds like a lot of people but instead of seeing them as two wholly different people, its interesting to see growth. This was very refreshing to see before you started the game!
