I’m taking it for migraines & low mood..been taking it just over a week I’m definitely sleeping better my mood has improved + feel a bit more energetic through the day.so far all good 👌

Wish you well mate, they are a very good tablet, taken same time every night . Yes you do feel more energetic. Also melatonin are good also. By over counter first, then if you think there ok your DR, has to prescribe them from there on.

Ugh Amytriptyline! My doctor prescribed it for nerve pain that's troublesome at night. I could hardly drag myself around the next day - it made me feel positively depressed. I was only on the 10mg dose. Stuck it for 7 days and simply had to stop. After 24 hrs I came alive again.

There should be warning on this. I am on it for 15 years and I can’t sleep without it, depressed as hell and coming off it makes you go crazy. Do not use this without considering the long term affects.

This medicine is pretty hard on your body. The side effect are so strong that I have to discontinue after a while. Dry mouth, irritation, constipation, anxiety, and rebound insomnia

I alternate it with other drugs for fibromyalgia insomnia. I find 50 mg too little, can't sleep, and 75 mg too much - very groggy and zombie like next day. Dry mouth. Last night, I took my other alternate, 2 Tranquipams and 2 Brazapams, and still could not sleep after four hours so chased it with a Trepilene. Did the job, but was very tired this morning. Taking medication seems to be a fine balancing act, if I have to be up early and alert the next morning, i have to take less, even if it means little or no sleep.

It's allegedly disrupts the sleep cycles

I took 30mg last night after going through a breakdown. What mg would you recommend now? 20mg? My doctor said 20mg/30mg. How long before sleep? It seems to take about an hour if not longer?? -Thank you

My dr said that weight gain and heart attack were side effects but since I was already at near my highest weight and other street drugs didn’t give me a heart attack I decided to try it for insomnia and it turns out I slept so well on it I skipped dinner and lost weight ☺️

Taking 10 mg it eases pain and itching but i need to add klonopin 0.25 for good sleep . Is it ok?

some say when taken repetitively can cause overdose, how accurate is it? is 100mg - 500mg safe?

Amiriptyline is a daily drug for migraine prevention. It does not cause medication overuse headache. Acute therapy drugs like excedrin, advil, or sumatriptan do that. To me 100 mg is the max dose, but it has more side effects-dry mouth, early morning drowsiness, constipation. btd

I was on these for sleeping and depression. I found these pills very very good. Had tostop taking because the drs, said it was interfering with my bladder, so i use phenergan 25mg,. Ihave agood sleep every night along with my medicinal weed,good sleep always . 🗣️🗣️

@@yanggolo8463 I was taking these pill for about 18 months, but went to Phenergan and meddy weed about 10 months ago feel more relaxed , feel quiet ok good until something else starts.

Better options are Benzodiazepine and mirtazapine

For a while and after u get addicted it stops working...cannot take anything long term and expect it to work every night for life Body gets used to it.

Amitriptyline works some the first night, dose may need adjusting up-10, 25, 50. btd
