Not a single actor anywhere in the world has managed to impress 5 decades of generations in such a variety of roles and still working as a lead at the age of 81. That's a record no one could and will ever break. There was and there will never be another Amitabh Bachchan. The Shahenshah of world cinema.

at 81,this guy has the energy of a man in mid fourties. he Rocks

Amitabh seems so reserved. I think family means everything to him. He’s a great actor not a role model to the average person.

I may have some reservations about his personal apolitical attitude but as an actor he is beyond comparison...all time favorite ..hardly missed any of his movies

why do you have that reservation for him being apolitical. Thats not his forte and profession and if being political becomes a threat to his core professional life, then why should he be political. He just want to live safe, peaceful and work his best at this age. Because when he’ll voice an opinion, a lot of hatred may come his way and he may be not up for that anymore.

Even at 81 he has the same voice and memory He is definitely a hero

My Hero & my Idol since the time I was just 5 years old. I had watched Amar Akbar Anthony and at that age more than the movie (which of course I love too), it was Mr. Bachchan who left me mesmerized. I found my passions in my life because of him which are acting and cinema. Personally too after my Parents, whenever I have been in doubt or I felt I goofed up, I have read or watched his interviews and listened to his words of wisdom which he was a result of his experiences, it has immensely helped me in taking decisions, looking at the positive side of things and keep fighting on. I could go on and on but the last thing I can say is I am sure there are millions whom he not just entertained but became a symbol of hope & inspiration for.
