A soulful voice sadly did not get to playback the number of songs he deserved. Was way ahead of many of his contempories . Perhaps the greatest rival to his melodious voice was that of his father's itself. Alas what an irony but true ...God bless you Amit Ji..

এই আ্যলবামের প্রতিটি গান যা অমিতজী গাইলেন,যেগুলি ওনার নিজস্ব এবং কিশোরজীর,সব এতো আন্তরিক ও দরদী,যে বারবার শুনেও আবারও শোনার ইচ্ছা থেকেই যায়। তথাকথিত কোনো ওপরে ওঠার দৌড়ে না থেকেও, এভাবেই শ্রুতিমধুর গানগুলির মধ্যে দিয়েও শ্রোতাদের মনে চিরস্থায়ী আসন নেওয়া যায়।তা বলার অপেক্ষা রাখে না।সবার জন্য আরও আরও অনেকদিন খুব ভালো থাকুন এইসব মিষ্টি মধুর গানগুলি নিয়ে।

Amit has a unique voice quality which no body match. He was sidelined by some nasty Bollywood lobby when he was at his late 80 and early 90 's.❤

Amit Ji - You almost reached to your dad's magical voice and it's really tuff to say who is the best singer "You or Kishore Da" - My inner peace is your voice.

It's not politics which impacted Amit sir it's greatness and aura of his father which raised everyone expectation to sky

Given more opportunities he could have been the greatest singer of 90's.......but.............

Mujhko Yeh Zindagi is the master piece of Amit Kumar in my sincere opinion. I loved listening to his Father and Amit is exceptional as well with his own unique way and he is a living legend, I heard his Father in his voice as it has evolved just like his Father's did.
