I've never had peanut butter pie either and I think I'd like this one. I always imagined the entire pudding was pb flavored which doesn't excite me, but this sounds yummy just the right amount of flavor.

I love that you included your little on the counter, I do that with my granddaughter. There’s just something about homemade pies, maybe it’s the love and energy put into it. Never heard or seen a peanut butter pie. I sure have learned something. Thanks for sharing

May I recommend having a day of the week on your channel where you just do a pie? With all of those lovely recipes. My eyes shifted to a raspberry pie recipe and a chiffon recipe, while the book was being flipped through. Yummy!!

Oh my goodness - this looks amazing!! That pudding looks so rich and yumm.y I've never seen the crumbles placed on the bottom as well as the top. 😋 I wash and reuse our plastic bags often And, we definitely use our garage to chill food during the winter. What a help that is - especially over the holidays!

This looks absolutely delicious! I love homemade pudding from our fresh cow's milk too. In fact, not long ago I was in a hurry and made pudding from a boxed mis and my 5-year-old son questioned "what is this" because he didn't think it tasted at all like pudding...lol Thanks for sharing.

I’m not a big peanut butter person but I really like how a crumb was made instead of mixed into the custard. Will be making this one I used to wash my ziplock bags until I moved in with my daughter. She’s like I can get more mom. Lol

I miss having raw cow's milk. We do have raw goat milk though from our little herd and our chickens finally started laying. My grill is my second fridge in the winter lol. I'll try the sure jell pudding. Maybe I will end up with pudding instead of soup in a pie shell as my husband calls my pies lol. Thank you!

Hi Aimee. Don't ever be embarrassed by dark bananas in your kitchen. All that means is there will be some awesome banana bread or muffins or cookies coming soon. I have to threaten my husband NOT to throw away black bananas. He doesn't get the banana bread concept of needing the bananas to look like that. Your pudding turned out so beautiful.

Checkout "Marie's Kitchen" about adding dry instant pudding to stablelize & allow whipped cream to set up 2 -3 days.

I also wash the bags my bread comes in.

Did you use the cook type Clear Gel? Yes, I wash my ziplocks! It’s just too expensive to not reuse them at least a few times.

This sure is a different version to what I was expecting! It's been many a year since I had an Amish peanut butter pie, but it was a peanut butter pudding/custard filling, not vanilla with peanut butter crumble layer! Interesting. I'm sure this is tasty, too, though.

Well, if you were using meringue topping, you needed the topping to connect to crust or it shrinks which is embarrassing for the cook. It indicates that you did or didn't beat the meringue correctly. Should not matter with whipped cream or coolwhip. Enjoyed your video. Good team work between the two of you. Thanks for helping LeAnne.
