Thanks for the vid! Picked up a pair at a thrift store, looking them over now - the zipper says LAMPO, and everything I’m seeing online seems to suggest AMIRI never used or currently uses LAMPO. So I’m thinking this might be a clear fake. Lucky I bought them yesterday so I can easily return them, but I’d like to take this as a learning experience at the very least. Thanks for your input!

are there variations on the back tag? I got a pair that looks legit but the backtag looks different, its a foil broken jean.

Yes, the foil broken jean would not have it. If you bought the blue amiris from Grailed I think they legit. But common with old mikes only few were made like a hundred pairs now he puts out thousands of the same design. You can send a pic to my IG if you worried, its on my home page.

I got a decent question. Don't Amiri's come with 3 tags not 2? Or does it depend on the pair?

It depends on the pairs, it can come with 2, 3 or 4 tags, depending if 2016, normal release or a collaboration. But by default 3 tags

Does older amiri pairs with the size like change in length as new pairs are all like 34 length ?

To answers your question, they do change in size but some are one length all across the board for example some jeans might all be 33 inseam from size 28-38. But that's not typical. Amiris are meant to stack so none will ever be short. For example a size 31 and 32 amiri might be 33 inseam but a size 33 and 34 can be 34 inseam.

no, just 2015-2019. 202,2021,2022 and 2023 are all buttons. playboys is all buttons

Nahhh bruh..I see ur good taste in jeans and I feel ur love for good quality denim but if u have been into denims that long then u should know jeans with buttons are considered more valuable, durable and give a hardcore aesthetic to it, it’s a well known fact for a long time, Amiri knew abt it but I’m sure he wanted to try something different with a zipper but I’m sure he realized nothing beats a button down pair of jeans , probably why he changed to buttons

this is just a myth to me, I know what you're saying. It's not so much the buttons themselves that piss me off, it's the off centered placement of the buttons that pisse me off, if you wear a tight pair all bottons will peep and bend. Also the double layer of crotch is unneeded, sloppy looking, worse to wear and reminds me of balmains weird front crotch design.Simply put for Amiri denim there's simply nothing better than riri zippers I've been into jeans over 20 years thats just my perspective
