Eurovision 2015 was the best year till now. Israël did a great job too.

Wow! If Eurovision really was a song contest this would have won by miles. Absolutely incredible. I'm glad Ireland gave 12 points to Latvia last year.

This performance is INCREDIBLE. My winner without doubts of this semi-final. Come on Aminata!!

From an American's perspective I do not find Aminata futuristic, but from the tradition of Diva power singers that have been around since the 1990's, They are almost a dime a dozen since the Phillippines is basically training its female singers to mimic and copy the divas. But, Aminata does have one of these great voices and she does seem to have great control though. The song "Love Injected' is neither very creative or melodic. What really pulls her effort down is her personal appearance. She is, and I am being kind here, a 3 out of 10. Also, I know in her interviews she is not charismatic or sharp witted. For her to be an international star she will have make herself more glamorous for the camera. With that face and her anorectic skeletal appearing body, no wonder there are few close ups and so much of the song is shot from a distant.

George Rogers wtf, dude? What's your problem? If this song isn't melodic and so on, then it means that every SIA's, Rihanna's or Britney's super number one hit isn't melodic, too, is it? Seriously, I'm not a fan of Eurovision, also I'm not a big fan of popular music (I personally prefer to listen to classic rock music), but this incredible. This song has the same level as all of your USA `wonders` and Aminata sings it in Live! Not every cult singer of your country can do that. Also, maybe it's the last time to undsrstand what is the natural beauty and what does it means to take public with singing the song in a long dress, not in the parody of the dress...

This was SO good and I was so scared, since Latvia and Israel were my two favorites of this semi and they got announced as the last two. But she vocally slayed. I can't even believe this, because when I first listened to all the 40 songs I was literally yawning at this song, but now it's one of my favorites. It's magical.

I´m completely in love with this song since the first time I heard it.That was by far the best song this Year at the ESC. To those who say that she is ugly or just screams her soul out of her body, I say dafuq is wrong with you? She puts all her feelings and her power into that song and has an incredible aura or presence,even though I wasn't there live. Her voice is beautiful and so is she.How she moves,looks,sings,everything she does makes the song appear so magical. Thank you Latvia/Aminata for that awesome piece of music! Lots of Love.:)

autumnaqua otaku That's because eurovision is not, and never was, about good and ambitious music. Eurovision is about vapid, unimaginative, forgettable mainstream pop music. From time to time you will find something good, even really good, but it will never win the contest. This particular song was too unconventional, too progressive and too ambitious for the eurovision. Simple.

And however, she had a chance more to get known in Europe and in the world...if it wasn't for the contest, as Italian I wouldn't ever knew her, probably, and that would've been a real problem :-)

Alcatraz Crysis I think Lithuania's song was okay, though the fact he kissed her was kinda like an advertisement of their performence and I really don't like things like that... once it'd be enough but when they do the same on final... though we (Poland) did kinda similar thing, not to offend Monika but showing her dancing was in a kind of bad style... the voice and song should win. Not to mention our (Polish) song has better lyrics in Polish and the translators did a shitty job (this with brigdes was peobably because we wanted to fit into the this years Eurovision motto (because in Polish version of this song there was nothing about any bridges) and I'm really curious how we got into the final... I think she didn't sing clearly and I actually don't like our song. I think it wouldn't be a harm if half of the song was in Polish..."Wake up and Live" I seriously have no idea how "Wake Up and Live" turned into "In the Name of Love". Just tell me how?? Oh, and did you (I mean al people) hear that Italy should've won? But they couldn't make the Eurovision so Sweden won. Heh, same situation as with Edyta Górniak's "To nie ja byłam Ewą"... can we just delete the jury pretty please?

Really big thanks for bringing Latvia to 6th place. Almost every country gave us at least one point and i'm very thankful. Proud of Aminata as well! So happy right now!!

Even though it's not my favourite song, she has probably the most consistently INCREDIBLE voice live in the whole contest, and the song is very memorable because it's just so unusual. Maybe not a winner, but a very welcome addition to the final :D congratulations Latvia from the UK ^^
