This is my ancestral national anthem. My biological parents from Ireland were visiting in the USA at the time of my birth and I was adopted by Americans, so I'm a first generation Irish-American and am pursuing a potential Irish/EU citizenship, which I have a feeling I will need soon.

Hello from Ireland, I got really excited when seeing this in my subscriptions. Fun fact: Ireland has way more national anthems than it needs. It has a seperate one for rugby and an unofficial one for some reason. I'm embarrassed to say that I can never remember most of the lyrics to this, by the way. I normally go like "Sianna fíanna fáil, atá something something Éireann." Slán!

Scotland has two (Flower of Scotland and the one us English foisted on them) and ditto Wales (Land of my Fathers and the foisty English dirge). England also has a few, like the paradoxically named "Jerusalem" as well as "Land of Hope and Glory" even without the one about Liz II and her fam.
