Americans Visit China to Learn the Truth

China continues to surprise and amaze us. The people are patient, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The scenery is gorgeous. The transportation is reliable, punctual and affordable. We feel safe wherever we go! All of these factors make China an incredible travel destination that is sadly overlooked by many westerners.

I have to say China is getting better and better. We all know China is not perfect and has many problems but what important is that Chinese government is taking actions to solve problems and making progress everyday. There are reasons why Chinese culture has lasted for 5000 years.

So happy to see that your family have a great time in Yunnan. As far as I know, the ticket seller might try to tell you that the price you pay for the ticke can be deducted against the amount you spend in the park. This means that if you spend 30 yuan to buy a ticket, show the ticket you can use it as 30 yuan in the park, that is, if you choose to ride a bike or buy something to eat in the park, as long as it is less than 30 yuan, you do not need to pay extra.

Who can now say there is no freedom in China? China is the way how a country should be run properly. The Western system of governance is an utter failure which is unable to provide as safe and free a living environment like in China. China is wise to adapt the Singapore's system of governance wherever applicable. The enviable outcome is before everyone's eyes. Other countries should follow suit if they want similar results. But the fundamental mindset of the people must change first. Nothing will work if the same mindset remains.

We Americans can’t have anything nice because some young punks would destroy them! In my neighborhood for a long time there aren’t any portable potties available for people to use at the high schools and large parks because the young punks would flip them over and destroy them just for the heck of it! So for years there weren’t any portable potties for people to use at all because the authority was getting tired of having their portable potties being destroyed all the time! Now they started putting portable potties at high schools and large parks again because they are able to secure the portable potties against large concrete blocks or metal poles so that those punks can’t flip them over! The people in the US are extremely nasty and destructive of other people’s properties! Even the local Chinese restaurants that I frequent get vandalized! Some a-holes think it is alright to carve into the wooden table that they sit at or break the glass that covers the top of the table or break the toilet cover or the candy machines and other stupid things that they do to our local Chinese restaurants just because they spent $20 on Chinese food! Sadly, many of these kinds of destructions are racially motivated! They think by destroying properties belonging to Chinese Americans they are doing the mighty USA a favor! Never underestimate the level of depravity of racist bigots!

China has been adding English classes to its 9-year compulsory education (even from primary school) since the 1980s, but with the development, there are now schools where you can choose the language you want to learn (French, Russian, etc.), instead of obliged to learn English. Nowadays it is not true that everyone can speak English, but in most cases there are various methods or software to help understand the foreign language. For example, the reply you are reading was translated by me with the help of software - although I have corrected some mistakes myself. And in tourist attractions, the inability of waiters to speak foreign languages will prevent some money from being earned. So it's not surprising.

When in the San Franciso a couple of years back, there is a street sport called "Slap an Asian Challenge" while we don't have a street sport called "Slap an Waiguoren Challenge" in China.

Westerners have never heard of the verse: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Westerners screw Jesus in the rear every day.
