Molly Meldrum explained to Grace Jones that being called a spunk is a compliment; live on Countdown; in front of an audience that was alive at the time.

Ha ha! If Grace Jones had been on the British words and numbers game show Countdown and said the word spunk, most of the audience WOULDN'T have been alive a minute afterwards. (It's traditionally viewed as a 'safe' show, watched by straightlaced and prudish senior citizens, who often write letters complaining that the words and numbers girl's skirt is too indecently short. However the raunchy comedy version spin-off show called ''Eight out of ten cats does Countdown' would really make them apoplectic with rage.)
