The way you describe huckleberry sounds similar to black currant. I never really knew what huckleberries might be like, but it sounds good!
I bought it at a Twilight themed convenience store and restaurant in Forks, WA just outside of Rialto Beach. Didn’t know until we drove through there, but Forks is apparently where Twilight is set, and every established in Forks wants you to know that they are glad to be known for something.
