Agreed he used 2 flatplane v8s to “represent America” and those are more Italian designs. He should’ve used a 2013/14 gt500 and a c6 z06. Both 90 degree v8s one is for the boost heads one is for the big displacement v8. Both sound better than the flatplanes in my opinion.

@@kacper.6537 Lamborghini has a lot of leather in it's interior and it's real leather. ZR1 actually has a very plastic interior. Which I don't bash. I respect Corvettes and I find them cool, I'm a European car guy but I respect what a Corvette is. An affordable, reliable sports car with great sound and performance. But it has limitations. And that's only normal. If it had a luxurious interior, it wouldn't be what it is. An affordable sports car (affordable compared to other sports cars with it's capabilities) but it still has some limitations. Acting like a ZR1 has better sound than an Aventador.. simply isn't true. The ZR1 does sound great with it's huge V8 and supercharger but it doesn't have the auditory drama of a huge NA Italian V12. But I understand again, it's a matter of opinion. Personally I believe that most people in the world would agree that the Aventador sounds better.

Paganis are the only V12s I like the sound of. Lambos can be quite annoying to listen to if their exhaust are not custom like a Gintani exhaust, meanwhile a Pagani doesn't need any mods to sound like heaven. I say that about Lambos because it can be a bit too high pitched for my taste, while custom exhausts make them sound more balanced and pleasant.

Ok, you’re wrong when you say V8’s don’t sound unique because they do. I’ll put it to you this way. A Dodge, Ford and Chevy all sound different. If you compare a Hemi to 302 to a 350. If tuned correctly they will sound completely different from each other. Listen to General Lee from Dukes of Hazard movie, Eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds and Bumble Bee from Transformer. Yes, they all have a deep tone but it when they rev the engine the rumble is different with each engine.

Most V12's sound the same with little variations. American V8's have always had distinct sounds over one another. Even 3 examples of the best sounding modern American V8's sound completely different. 2013 GT500, 2015 Z28, 2015 Hellcat.

V12 sounds like a Singing Angel, while the world's most beloved LS1 Engine sounds like every V12 Drivers worst nightmare.

The Bizzarini V12 in its most extreme form, found in the Murcielago SV is by far and above the best sound ever created by any 12 cylinder engine, more specifically, when paired to a proper transmission. It’s divine.

You're definitely right that you hear American V8s every day you go outside, and half the time it's a clapped out 300k mile farm truck, but ignoring the rarity of the European V10/V12 sounds, I genuinely find the V8 to be a more pleasant sound. The exotics tend to sound like little gnats buzzing about your ears.

Americans build cars to make noise, Italians build cars to be fast and noise is just a consequence...
