The best thing about Alexa´s victory, is that she really wanted to win. It was only the first edition of the ASC but she took it like it was Eurovision itself, that´s great because if the artist believe this is a big deal, people will believe it too and will follow the contest. Congratulations Alexa.

coming from someone who's been watching Eurovision Songcontest for 20 years - I had goosboumps when they were announcing the points. It's just so exciting, nailed it! But for the rest of the show I didn't catch that ESC big event vibe. Maybe bc they had so many interviews in between. Maybe let more states into the finals and less interviews. Also missing that commentator / summariser voice!
