American Samoa

Музыка

Located halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand is American Samoa. American Samoans take great pride in being a U.S. territory and celebrate their adoptive country every year on Flag Day. The festivities include cricket, boxing matches and the ever-popular fautasi, or sleek boat, race. Let’s find out more about this exciting holiday as we see all the activities that take place on this special day.

80% obesity among Samoans. You can blame genetics for those extra 20 pounds, but not for the extra 200 pounds. They look happy though.

Genetic my foot. I'm not obese left Am. Samoa in 1976. Still look the same small and I'm 62. Plan to rtn for good soon. The problem for this generation they follow the western diet. Then sit around don't go outside to clean the yard or go to the farm. Not like when I was growing up. After school we did chores plus no television. We ate what we grew on the farm and that was healthy.
