You really made a great video from Amberg ❤

Amberg is a beautiful gem between Nuremberg and Regensburg and smack in the middle of USAG Bavaria (Graf, Vilseck and Hohenfels). The city is one of the most picturesque in the region and hosts many Americans and their families from the garrisons. The dialect "Oberpfalz" is beautiful and Mike's curry level 12 will peel the rind off a potato - no joke. All your visits/food spots I frequent living here and they are ALL excellent eats. Come back anytime -- you're always welcome

I was stationed there 80-81 and 84-87. I'm surprised that the Wild Vaitl is still there.

The little map in the beginning is wrong. The pin marks the city of Ansbach. Amberg is about 100 km east and slightly more northward.

Miss the old times when the Rose Barracks were in Amberg. Had a lot of fun and beers with the soldiers. They brought us cheep cigarettes and gas coupons and we gave them weed :)

Bavarian Village? Amberg has 45,000+ inhabitants and greater Amberg-Sulzbach-Rosenberg-Kummersbruck has 75,000 inhabitants; not a village by any means. Anyway, a very nice video

Amberg is definitely a nice place to live in Old Bavaria and rents are cheap though! Last but not least the girls are realy hot in Amberg!
