I studied History in School only. Our history teacher never emphasised this subject as very prominent one. There might be less scope for career development in history but it can't be regarded as disdainful subject. It was always portrayed as futile subject to students and to be honest, history class used to be very boring class till my 10th Standard. Thanks to people like Dr. Mahipal ji who rejuvenated this subject as interesting one. 🙏🙏

Britain though won in 7yr war but it lost a huge amount of money. France lost in seven yr war and also lost its all money Then after seven yr war....this American revolution took place... Britain started putting taxes to recover it's losses.france supported colonies just to take revenge from Britain

Sir, I have a question. As you mentioned it was 13 colonies that started revolution against Britain and eventually got independence and become states. What about other states around Mississippi, Bay area, Florida etc? I know these were under French/Spanish. Did all of these also got independence on 4th July? What happened to Canada side?

After the humiliating defeat of France in 7 years war, it was forced to surrender Canada to Britain , similarly Spain ended up losing Florida to Britain so that it could have Cuba and Philippines back

Sir, the lecture is really very good and in detail too. I just have one doubt. You have mentioned "Treaty of Paris" was signed when 7 years war was over which lasted from 1754-1763. But at the end of the lecture you have again mentioned that "Treaty of Paris " was signed to officially announce that the war is over i.e. in 1783. How can the same treaty be signed 2 times? Which treaty is correct? Please reply

In 1763 It was signed to mark the victory of Britain in 7 years war and in 1783 it was done to mark the end of American Revolution and the actual independence of America
