America should have good products like they do in the UK, all of our stuff is made with ingredients that the UK won't even allow, probably because they're smart, America just doesn't care and that's pretty sad. Thanks so much for stopping by, I am barely keeping up, now I started the streams and I'm wondering if I should have kept my big mouth shut not telling everybody that I was going to do one every week, yikes! what was I thinking, LOL. The UK seems to have healthier versions of our snacks, but they are half the calories and don't have all the chemicals as we do. Their government outlawed a lot of the ingredients that we use. Appreciate you stopping by, wishing both you and Kathy all the best keep enjoying yourself, safe travels!!!

You say you could taste the pickle but not so much the onion, but it's not "pickle and onion", rather it's "pickled onion" one thing and one single flavour. It makes me wonder, do you not have pickled onions over the pond? They're very common over here, white onions pickled in vinegar that you'd have as an accompaniment if you're having a cold dinner (a sandwich or whatever). It's the sort of thing you'd imagine every grandma almost certainly having a jar of in her kitchen cupboard! You'll find big jars of pickled onions commonly on the counter in fish and chip shops too where you can buy one to have with your fish supper (You'll often find pickled eggs too: the same but with peeled hard-boiled eggs in vinegar). You can also get variants like silverskin onions, which are little and sweeter, and nowadays you can get some different varieties in the supermarkets like pickled onions in fancy flavoured and spiced vinegars. But the original pickled onion is a classic staple over here, and you'd be pretty much guaranteed to find them in even the smallest corner shops (tiny neighbourhood grocery stores with only the most basic range of food). And pickled onion flavouring is a long-standing artificial flavour to give to crisps and other snacks!

Thanks so much for all your support. I need to stop eating hot stuff and sour stuff because with all the good food out there I don’t need to be doing this, lol. Tonight I’m doing a Stream with it in five things line for that and then trying to describe or guess what they are, but I brought in a couple people and we stopped it up and anything goes so chances are I’m not going to know what they are giving me, save me I am scared, lol.

Hey Pips!! WOW!! Those are some popular spuds for sure!!! I have never ever heard of this Walkers brand before!! Not fair we can't get them here!! They must be super delicious!! Wow $12 for some chips..but Im sure they were worth it! I love trying unusual snacks. I think the paw shape is cute. Ive noticed in other countries..they don't have as many artificial ingredients and dyes as here in the good ol USA.

Hello from the UK and I am new to your channel.🙂ahhh Monster Munch, the perfect snack in your child’s packed lunch….and a lovely vinegary pickled treat for adults too! 😃 I was interested in your “are you trying to kill me??😱😱” comment for as you are probably well aware and know that the UK and Europe are strictly fanatical about the ingredients, additives and colourings that are added to “manufactured” food products - to the point that any new crisp flavouring, sweets (what you call ‘candy’) and chocolates are subjected to vigorous testings until it can be proven that the ingredients meet all the EEC rulings… so flavourings, colourings, artificial sweeteners anything really, if they are on the “banned for human consumption” list, you will never find that item for sale on a shop shelf! So, for the heart, be reassured that “over here” we are not secretly trying to top you off! 😅 and you can taste test and enjoy all the crisps and treats fearlessly!

Thanks for watching I truly appreciate it and I appreciate your comments, this was a play on the word chloride, I did say several times throughout the video that these treats are good and they’re healthy and how the UK has much better ingredients than the US, so in no way was high fashion the snacks or any other Foods that come from the UK. In fact I wish all of our food here was like yours, then we wouldn’t have such a big problem. This is an outstanding product and I shared these with others who also enjoyed them and commented that our country should take a lesson from the UK. I will elaborate and explain the quality of the snacks and that this was a playoff of the word chloride, while this might offend some, I do understand and for this I do apologize. I plan on doing many more snacks and foods from the UK, and comparisons with the US version and show my viewers how much healthier food products in the UK are compared to America. Frankly our country doesn’t seem to care as much as your country, and it’s a real shame. So please no my sense of humor wasn’t aimed to discredit A product at all. My family wants me to order more so that they can have them for their lunches as well. Thank you so much For pointing us out. Take care

I thought they were pretty good, actually the ingredients that are in these are 1 million times better than any of the Ingredients in our snack foods. Ahhhhhh.... they are huge, such a successful company and I didn't realize they were around for such a long time. In my research I found so many things that Walker's makes and all of their snacks look awesome. They should come here and run all of the garbage snacks out of business, there are so many bad ones here and so unhealthy but we keep eating them anyway, lol.

@@CoffeeWithPips Most of these types of products (Quavers, Monster Munch etc) are/were actually Smiths. Both brands were acquired by PepsiCo or Frito-Lay and it was decided to kill off the Smiths brand and use Walkers. Smiths dates back to the 1920s. Arguably their most famous product was the plain crisps later called salt n shake. As they'd contain a blue sachet of salt for you to add yourself.

I think you are so brave- tasting all those chips and the like. We rarely have them in the house. Use to though. Only once the packet was open- it was also empty 😂! Only chips I now occasionally buy are the nacho chips for with the meal. If I was a taster I'd be continually challenged at the supermarket to not buy them 😂 🤩 ! Love Charleston! so cool that you have family there, one of my favorite places. We are leaving on the 2nd and returning on Sunday, so we will be there 4 days, but a good friend of mine moved there about 5 years ago, and my wife is like best friends with his wife. We were there right before the pandemic too, so it's our second time. He got sponsored on the island where the Ryder Cup is and we are going there as well. We always have a bourbon, he's was Secret Service for President Reagan and he cracked open a bottle that he got from him, such a treat!

LOL, I'm all about public service announcements, LOL. These weren't bad, not anything I would go out of my way for to get them, but not bad. They don't use all of the crappy ingredients that they do in America. Even their ketchup is all-natural, restrictions the government put on exporters. Heinz makes their ketchup healthy, but ours not so healthy, still trying to figure that one out, lol. Thanks again for making my live stream. it was nice seeing you there. LOL... now I want a whopper, lol. I bet you're right about the roast beef, "a hint of meat" LOL. I always wondered how they do these things... I would just like the roast beef, forget the chips. I made a second Monster Munch which is a little more interesting and I actually got it right in that video. I felt so stupid, thanks for the comment.

One of my favourites, I do like the roast beef and flaming hot flavours but the pickled onion have always been the original and the best. I'm astounded by the price! A six pack is usually 2-4 dollars 💸 over here hehe. Gona have to grab me a packet from the kitchen after watching that 😊

Not fair!!! you guys get these so cheap! some of my friends said that he had the roast beef and it was pretty good. Now I am going to have to try it. These snacks are not packed full of preservatives and things that are bad for you, It seems that America is trying to kill us with all the unhealthy ingredients they use.
