@@Santos043 Neo-Nazism in Poland existed in the 1990s and stemmed from sheer ignorance of what it really was. Nowadays it is such a small margin that, in order to exaggerate the problem, one Polish left-wing TV station itself organised a festival of neo-Nazi music. In a documentary it produced, it had to employ actors pretending to be neo-Nazis. It is now common knowledge that Nazism is straightforwardly linked to international socialism and communism. The political programme of the famous Austrian watercolourist described in his book is a model for the ideological basis of the European Union. If skinhead organisations in Poland are already radicalising, they are doing so against communism and precisely Nazism. The bigger problem in Poland is Antifa, which is eating its own tail. The way Antifa operates is pure fascism and Nazism. The communists and international socialists do not like Polish patriotism. Their ideal is a Europe without states and nations. That is why the problem of Nazism in Poland is currently being exaggerated, when in fact it does not exist. Coming back to the Celtic crosses, they are used by football fans, but they are not really indicative of neo-Nazism. It is just fan folklore of people who don't like both communism and international socialism equal to Nazism. Political ideas nowadays have been so falsified that simple people unfamiliar with the subject are very easily manipulated.

During 63 day of fighting 45 ths of resistance underground slodiers were fightig out of which 16 ths died and another 15 ths were captured. In addition to this over 200.000 civilians were murdered by Nazis. Amongst this a couple of thousands were kids. This banner is telling about that fact.

@@Maximus439 No. There is a reason Football is the biggest sport on the planet. In Europe, Asia, Africa and South America it is close to a religious cult at times. In the 90s and 00s when teams that were historical rivals clashed in a match fans of said teams would take it to the streets to riot and fight. People dies on daily basis after football matches. This has of course been toned down bu governments over the last 20 years. But it still occasionally happens. And its not just one country, That happened in UK (famously cut short by Margaret Thatcher) in Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Marocco, Egypt, Sweden, Brasil, Argentina, Chile and many more. Its because for a football fan, their team doesn't just represent themselves or the players. It represent the cities hondred or thousands of years of history (Especially in Places like London, Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Athens, Moscow, Madrit, Rome), it also represents the people of that region, their distinct culture and heritage and when the team plays a international tournament their country. Why is that the case? Because teams here have HISTORY and not just 50-70 years of history 100-200 years of history. The average age of a team in Premier League is 137 years and the oldest team this season was Nottingam Forest founded 158 years age and the youngest was Leeds United founded just over a century ago. On the contrary the oldest soccer team in the US is Milwaukee Wave founded 39 years ago. Thats less than some football fans in Europe watched their team for. In the NFL on average a team is 68 years old and the Exception to this rule is the Arizona Cardinals that were founded 125 years ago. Also for the record. Yes Soccer is business in contrast to European football. Why do you think in every top League in the USA the teams that play there are there forever? For example there will always be the same 30 teams in the NBA and the same 32 teams in the NFL? Because having rotation would make giant contracts for superstars impossible if they were to implement the relegation system. The teams that were relegated would not have enough money to support giant contracts and the teams promoted would not have enough money to give out giant contracts. Its all about money. Keeping the same teams makes finances stable. But this approach is only visible in American pro leagues. Example in Premier League a team like Man UTD, if they play like shit (example of tanking in NBA) the last two spots each season get relegated to a lower league, If Man UTD were to somehow be bad enough to get one of those spots, well sorry not sorry relegation and we don't give a fuck you are one of the most important teams in history of the league. Thats called passion and opportunities for small markets not buissnes, as you could imagine loosing a team like that for the pros is not good for business

What you have seen from Greece isn’t normal every weekend,it could happen but mostly when it comes to a match agains real rival from the same town or Region, then it is like war. They hate each other like nothing else. The video are great to watch, but to really understand you have to feel it in the corner of your team. It’s amazing when up to 80 thousand sing and dance as one. You will never forget in your life

That’s like a heritage from the times where cities were like states (so medieval times). Imagine the other team is like an invader, and the players of your club, so mostly your city, fight them on the field. It’s a damn great feeling to participate and when your team scores and wins. Whuuuu ciao, sometimes depending on the opponent or tournament, the stadium erupt like a super volcano 🌋…

In Europe a lot of sport is tribal warfare by other means. Most matches are "meh" who cares, but when rivals clash, or there's an ongoing political conflict it all comes out. It's really toned down a lot over the last 30 years, back in the 90's and earlier a lot of big matches were followed by the fans taking to the streets and fighting each other.

We don't necessarily think our players are the best. I support a team that often have to fight to not be relegated to a lower division but at every home match, the stadium is filled and we support them with all our hearts because we know we can make the difference, we know that our players won't play better if we don't support them. So we sing, we support we push them to give the best of themselves, we win with them and we lose with them. That's why supporters are often called the 12th man

4:35 Bro, 99% of football fans know full well that they arent supporting the best team and that you wont win every game. By my personal experience i can say full well: We suck. But its not about that. You dont choose a club, it gets introduced to you. You take pride in the colours of your kit. And every single team that has any form of fans (like a handful are enough) has its own songs - which are partially several decades old and were sung by your granddad when he was young. Its pride, its heritage, its culture. My club stands exactly for the values the people here grew up with. In the past we made a lot of money producing steel. Hard work, always getting back up, blood sweat and tears are things we expect. We dont expect the best, the fanciest, the mind-blowing. We expect an honest day of work for their (tbf very handsome) salary.

In front of them there is another side of the stadium, called the "virage nord" ansmultiple other supporter's club from Marseille When one side of the stadium start to sing "aux armes", the side in front of them repeat the exact same thing, and that give this echo impression.
