The Stanley cup was 2 rounds until it became 3+ rounds after 1970. The Canucks and Sabres have won more consecutive rounds in the playoffs than the Leafs ever have won, in their entire history.

Urinatingtree was absolutely correct in that he had to LIMIT the stories of Harold Ballard. Here’s a few more stories: 1)so you saw ballard’s name put in the middle of the rink? Yeah, that actually caused the ice to melt and become unstable. 2)in public Ballard made racist remarks and sexist remarks. In one interview you can find online he continued to make such remarks…to a female reporter…I have no idea why he even agreed to take the interview. 3)he once had painters use the MAPLE LEAF championship banners as rags to catch paint before it hit the ground

Harold Ballard was a true psycho. Owner until his death in 1990. Left scars. Took decades for the franchise to win back all the former greats who had been stabbed in the back. Complete dick moves. The narrator is doing an accurate job of relating what it was like.

UrinatingTree when doing these types of videos usually is putting on a voice act as the POV of a Toronto or whatever team general manager. It's mainly for laughs and goofs it isn't him being real when he says "filthy American". More to pick fun at how usually management or how fans treated em or how it was taken

This year they once again lost in game 7 at TD Garden after being down 3-1 against Boston and were leading in the 3rd

What have the Leafs done since this video? Oh, it's been a ride... 2021: They played in the All-Canadian North Division and won it, got matched up against the Montreal Canadiens, one of their rivals for the 1st round of the playoffs. They went up 3-1 in the series and then blew it in Games 5, 6 and 7. 2022: The Leafs set their franchise record in points for the regular season. Are matched up against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1st round. They went up 3-2 in the series and then blew it in Games 6 and 7. 2023: They had another good regular season finishing just one point shy of their point total last year and again are matched up against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1st round. They FINALLY, for the first time since 2004, win a playoff series. And they did it in 6-games no less. Their 2nd round match-up is the Florida Panthers. They get pushed aside in 5-games. 2024: Well, you saw it... It was another Bruins-Leafs series. Bruins go up 3-1 in the series, let the Leafs back in and then... Game 7 TD Garden... Leafs nightmare...

As a Canadiens fan, (One of the leaf's biggest rivals), my favourite memory is when we made the playoffs on a wildcard and then came back from being down 3-1 in the series to beat the Leafs. We then went all the way to the finals where we got cooked in 5 games by a STACKED Tampa Bay team

Being a leafs fan is very much a love hate relationship with the team but I’ll always stick by them.

Only real fans do. If you jump from team to team, especially based solely on who's winning, you're not a real fan. The other thing is, "haters" are OBSESSED with the Leafs. I get not liking something or even a team but if you hate them so bad, why do you care? You know what I mean? Most think insults is what makes them a bigger fan these days. Alot of people have no common sense these days. Society has gone to sh*t

If you’re interested look at the Montreal Canadiens dynasty during the 60’s and 70’s, there was a rule that Quebec teams could draft the first pick of Quebec born players, and got one generational talent after the next. The Canadiens won like 8 cups in the 70’s
