2 things These are all highschool boys, mainly 17-19 year olds but there are 14 year olds in there too. The ball is the same size as the ball used in pro rugby
BTW, It's not a smaller ball. This level of competition the balls are standard size. He's just a big boy with big hands.
To correct you on your comments about the tackling... That is the first thing we get taught as kids is the right tackling technique. From the age of 6/7. Sometimes the coaches will not teach them to tackle the correct way or sometimes a player could also just be scared of getting hurt when going into a tackle. Just remember in rugby every single one of the 15 players on the field is a defender and attacker. In rugby you need to have both skills to succeed. It might just look bad because on school boy level where sometimes boys that weigh 60kg will have to tackle a 110kg player running down at him full speed. If the smaller one has heart he will take the big man down like a sack of potatoes. Look at Fav De Klerk as a perfect example of a small player with heart and no fear. The small player needs to be confident and believ he is about to take the gaint coming at him down, then 99% of the time the small boy will take him down. Self belief is very powerful... These days alot of the 16 year old boys here in South Africa that stand 1.9m tall at a weight of 110kg-120kg. Especially in the farming towns, those boys are hard as a brick wall
They are high school players
SA has the best rugby schools in the world.

'nobody know how to tackle?' these kids would destroy highschool football kids over there
They are bred different down there. Met so many monster sized South African lads. Was supposed to be going there this summer for the Lions, hope it’s goes ahead.

The people from the Highveld as well, they are literally a different breed, the high altitude and low oxygen means they become a beast when they go to low altitudes
I just keep watching your videos to hear that *BINK*! Lmao, it makes my day.
Please do "South Africa schoolboy rugby speed and power" Great reaction keep them coming my man👌
This is high school , which encapsulates the following ages (13-19)
Hey Sean Know it's an older video, but you asked for authenticity for following you: Love your personality, drive, excitement, humour & your understanding of sports in general & how I watched you learn the game of rugby, as well as how you do your reactions Keep up the Awesome work Much love as always from South Africa Peace
Nah that ball is the same size as the pros when you start playing from 14 yrs up , in conclusion that boy is a beast💀
You critique the tackling, but I reckon the if you played against these boys you wouldn't be able to tackle them, and you are a "grown ass man" where as these boys are 16 & 17 years old.
Two tactics in the game you either playa, Tight or an Expansive game pending the opposing teams strengths and weaknesses or a combo of the two also depends on weather conditions…
these high school kids are as big as college football players
Rugby balls are similar in size but slightly fatter than American footballs. Big hands are useful
Nice video my man... Think you might like to have a look this video... The title is "Rugby's Top 10 Most Aggressive Ball Carriers | Feared Rugby Players Big Hits & Bump Offs" not sure if you have seen it. If not you will enjoy this one. Keep up the good work brother! 💪 Rugby fan from South Africa🇿🇦🏉
All the rugby balls on every level are the same size
Bro tackling ain't that easy and I play rugby so I know and the speed that these guys are going makes is even more difficult for them to do it properly
talking about bad tackling, you try and tackle a 19 year old 120kg monster when youre 17 at 80kg. or even at your 30 years 100kg. youre not gonna stop them that easy
