Ppl like me with 30yrs or more had one certain thing as a kid: weekends we all turned on TVs to watch "the Phenomenom" plays soccer. GOAT!!! I had the pleasure to watch him play in loco here in Brazil. Dude was fat as fuck and skilled as hell. My idol!

Before Messi, Cristiano, Ronaldinho. This guy was on top of the football world for a good while. Tragically he had multiple knee injury's but that did not stop him. He's story is one of redemption and it's why he is considered the best striker of all time! In his prime he was unstoppable and got the nickname "The Phenomenon" . R9 actually never reached his prime. He had serious knee injury in early 20s due to which he wasn't same again. He was only able to play upto 60-70℅ of his capability. Even then he is known as one of the best striker in the world. Cr7 and Messi wouldn't have even come close to what R9 would have been had he reached his prime. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.

It's funny that you saw him mostly touching the ball with his right leg while he's probably the most two-footed player ever. He scored half his goals with his left foot and often they were bangers. He also dribbled with his left foot if he had to so he was very unpredictable. Usually defenders analyse the attacker before the game so they know what side to cover (if an attacker likes to cut inside with his left foot for example) but Ronaldo could go anywhere he wanted.

Ronaldo (R9) "the Phenomenon" is basically the Michael Jordan of soccer/futbol, except x9000, lol (I'm older, dating myself, lol, so I'm still using Michael Jordan, none of this Kobe Bryant and more recent stars, lol) Michael Jordan rarely caused defenders to fall on their a$$, whereas Ronaldo made the best of the best defenders (during this time period, were some of the best defenders, unlike other big stars who came later, whom had much worse/weaker defenders to go against, lol) fall on their a$$ all the time Also, while not as flashy as Ronaldhino (R10), Ronaldo's dribble control is absolutely insane, and he was like an unstoppable point guard, (almost, lol) everytime/anytime Ronaldo got the ball, no matter where he was, he would score, he could dribble down the entire field, dribbling past every single defender with ease, and he was extremely fast too, he had insane speed while keeping such control with the ball. Ronaldo always had at least half (5 or 6) of the entire team (10 = 11 - the goalie) guarding him at all times, and he still couldn't ever be stopped, that's just fkn insane. (it's harder to compare, as basketball only has 5 players on the court, whereas soccer has 10 players + the goalie on the field, but having 5 or 6 players guarding you in soccer/futbol, would be like if you had 4 of the 5 players in basketball guarding you, lol. I know the good players usually have 3 players guarding them, and that's only 1 away from 4, but that's a big difference, when there's only 5 players, I would say it'd be like having 5 players guarding you, but that would be the entire team, lol, so it's got to be 4 players, lol) it's hard for non-players to understand/appreciate how insanely good he is, as he's not flashy like Ronaldhino, but damn, he's a point guard who goes straight for the basket, and there's not a damn thing that anyone can do about it, except to brutally take him out (hence his career-ending injuries, he did come back and continued to be godly, but those injuries took out a big part of what would have been a much longer legendary career), that's why he's the best striker and dribbler of all time (excluding Pele from way back)

Ronaldo had lots of assists , what we see is he was so fast that team mates could not keep up . Once the turbo was on nobody was able to catch up , all they could do was try to grab his jersey

Usually the number 9 is usually for a striker. In my opinion he is the best striker of all times. Lethal in the penalty area . Cr7 is a overall player , height, strEngth and speed. And Messi is naturally born player.
