Swaggy bro I love your energy and honestly the fact that you still listened to them even out of your own comfort zone (and learning German to boot!) is super respectful to Rammstein fans. Honestly, seeing this journey through your eyes is so damn refreshing for us, like we are recapturing the first time we saw these live performances and heard their music. Keep it up bro!

Lol - I would not react to Bûck dich yet, that´s the act that got them arrested in the States... Rammstein are very outspoken and against all kind of oppression - for example, when Russias president had new anti-gay laws introduced some years ago Paul and Richard (the guitarists) kissed on stage when they played there just to show there support for gay people (and probably to piss the president off...). Till just not write lyrics about things, he put´s himself in the middle of it and act it out, probably one of the reasons why he is such a great front man.

Hey Swaggy You'd be surprised what Rammstein writes songs about. The songs pick up taboo topics, events or the like. However, Rammstein was and is always portrayed as right-wing radical, which is why the bands also made statements. Among other things with "Links, 2, 3, 4" or simply "Mann gegen Mann". This band is of the opinion that everyone is allowed to love and is also against racism. I recommend you to read the lyrics of "Mann gegen Mann" as well as "Mein Teil" or watch a music video with subtitles as first reaction. Also "Deutschland" or "Radio" even has a political direction from the history of Germany. Or "Wiener Blut" a story that shocked the world. P.s. It is really nice to see how someone who has nothing to do with such bands is open and looks at them. I love the reactions😁

@@Gileadean But in the monotheistic religions there is only one Lord. In German, however, there is an obsolete saying, "Die Herren der Schöpfung" [lit. The Lords of God's Creation], which refers to man's "Herrschaftsanspruch" claim to dominion. In German the connection between "Herr" and "Herrschaft" can still be seen very well in the word stems. But I also think that you are right in your assumption. As we know Rammstein, they have a very "special" relationship to the views of the church. The theme of the song is especially suited to make such allusions.

@@tosa2522 "Diener des Herrn" is a common Christian phrase, so i suppose they changed it to slightly to give it a new meaning. There is also the bible verse "Niemand kann zwei Herren dienen" (Matthaeus 6:24), to which Rammstein's answer is "Ich bin der Diener zweier Herren".

They had this set up when I went to see them live in Tacoma, WA, where a bridge lowered from above and connected the main stage to the small stage. They walked across the bridge and played some songs there, then the bridge lowered again and went back to the Main Stage for the rest of the show.

For small stage pyro try Ich Tu Dir Weh or Mein Teil, maybe Weiner Blut or Puppe if you want great performances. Those song lyrics are horrific so I don't recommend looking up translations. Mein Teil & Weiner Blut are songs about real events. Ich Tu Dir Weh & Puppe are just dark & twisty. It's sick shit but a great show.

Saw them in Cleveland in 2012. They had a second smaller stage just like that in quicken loans arena. The show was insane. They pour their heart into their live performances. Weisses fliesch live in Madison square garden is good.
