I flew over from Germany and saw the concert at the MSG live.

There is a lot of interaction between Till and Flake live, check out "Bück Dich" or "Mein Teil". Another great song live is "Puppe", sick song, sick live performance.

The band's members are Till Lindemann (b. 1964), Richard Z. Kruspe-Bernstein (b. 1967), Paul Lander (b. 1964), Oliver Riedel (b. 1971), Christoph Schneider (b. 1966), and Christian "Flake" Lorenz (b. 1966). So, Til is the oldest at 56 while Oliver (bassist) is youngest at 49.

@Thora Friganza Oliver's smokin'. Till's hot & ripped for 50+ yrs. Paul must have discovered the fountain of youth; he never changes. Christoph's hair is longer now but his body's amazing. Richard has a 50 yr old gut but hides it well behind his signature colors - a red/black vest & studded belts wrapped around his thunder thighs. These men have aged very well. Yummy 😋

They will be here in San Antonio, TEXAS on 9-24-21 at the Alamo dome

Going to a rammstein concert is everyone bucket list

I'm doing my first deep dive into their discography after knowing of only a handful of songs for years, and I gotta say, the way that the band picks on Flake is hilarious. It's not just the live performances, it's in the music videos, too! At least in "Auslander," he became a king.

I can tell you, live is just awesome. Last year i saw them the last time live. My first time was in 1998. It’s an experience you will never forget. Great reaction,i like that a lot 🙂

Once you've seen them live,once you start down that path,..you can never go back!

You need to check out Mein Teil. That's one of their most crazy live performances.

Lol this reaction made me smile. I have back stage V.I.P. tickets to San Antonio. Sadly it has been pushed back to next year. Me and the woman are holding on to our tickets. But Flake isn't pronounced the way it looks. It's pronounced Flakka. These guys all came from Eastern Germany when the wall was still up. They lived on the communist side so they couldn't produce music till the wall came down in '89. Mind you at this time Till was already in his 30's and the oldest of the group. He is pushing 60 now. I have seen them 2 times live but they rarely tour in America so yeah we are anxiously waiting for this next tour. I mean Till isn't getting any younger. And it takes roughly a week to build their stage set up. That's why they don't do mass touring in the states. Usually just 6 to 10 shows every 4 years or so(If we are lucky).

@@bobbyball77 Bought em the day they released. Well the ol lady did. An early Bday present. And they weren't cheap at all. $2,500 each. But getting them to sign my left forearm one under the next then getting em tatted with Rammstein in the traditional lettering on the back of the forearm. That will set the pace for the rest of the arm. All out Rammstein theme. My right arm is Pantera. Can't see a speck of my natural skin color. Got those signatures back in '99 at Dimes house. He even gave me his "Fuck You I'm From Texas" shirt from off his back. Oh I got stories with those guys.

They're doing a North America tour in 2021, that was postponed from 2020!! First time they will be out here in the states for the first time in like over 10-15 years. I copped a ticket for Philadelphia, it's an open air STADIUM tour so you know the firework are gonna be lit!

At some point Ramstein discovered that you can make up with instant coffee. According to concentration, black to red spots appear, which looks like dirt or blood. Flake was hyper nervous all the time during an earlier tour. What did he forget ? That he was made up with lots of coffee in the evening during every concert - Maybe the reason why he needs a treadmill 😉 ? From an Interwiev with Flake : As a keyboard player, I'm untethered on stage. I can just go off and do something at all the places where I'm not playing. The guitarists have their guitar - until they have taken it off (...) and have the transmitter off - they can't get into the boat like that or make shenanigans.(...) And: We make heavy metal music, where a keyboard is not so important. There are many parts where I just don't play. And if I don't play, I don't have to stand around." In my opinion without Flake Rammstein would never have been what they are. Again and again he is only moved into the nerd corner and underestimated enormously. What most people remember is only the treadmill he is running on while playing. Most of the Rammstein pieces are backed by a mostly inconspicuous but sometimes bombastically symphonic sound body combined with techno elements (like in "Spiel mit mir") and so much more. It´s done so cleverly that it is hardly noticeable in the foreground. But if you take it out of the equation and mix it away at the mixer console, the rest sounds almost like any metal band. Together with the typical Rammstein monster guitar riffs the keyboards in the background fill up the entire sound, make things round, and not at least because of this Rammstein sound so unique !

Rammstein are the most amazing band Ive ever seen live. Feuer Frei is the best song to see live. And it's pronounced flack-ah, not flake. ;) The on-going "battle" between Flake and Till is legendary and has created some amazing live stunts over the years.

They sold out the Madison Square garden show in 28 minutes. Saw the same show in Oakland California was awesome
