1) First of all thanks for your reacion. 2) Europeans play basketball and all type of sports probably hundred of years before foundation of the USA 3) We support our local clubs like a family , we prepare for the game days before kick off so we can use choreography , flairs and all type of support stuff. 4) We perfecting our death battle chants for thousand of years 5) Last but not least we got the passion in our blood :) Fair review , cheers up !

Europe is home to some legendary basketball "academies" including all of the ex Yugoslavia countries, Lithuania and the last decades Spain and Greece too.

In the US a basketball fan go to the arena to watch the show. In Europe a basketball fan go to the arena to be the show!

It's really amazing what a deep general knowledge Americans have in all sports videos.

In Europe the clubs have all sports...soccer, basketball, volleyball, water pool, etc. They don't care about the sport itself...but they care about their club. They will go to war for the club. So the fans attend all sports. The big rivalries are where this type of atmosphere happens..you don't see this against a small market team. The fans are organized and have chants(a lot in vulgar language), flares, small bombs. Very electrifying atmosphere. No kids, or families attend...and NO OPPOSING FANS!! Your legs go numb. The true meaning of home court

We dont have a lot of cash, but that's why we have our clubs and this is our way of having fun, we are another player in our team, we give our heart and soul, why? Because my father, my grandfather and everyone in the house did it and we will never stop showing what can be done and that no money can buy us.

All the teams shown in Euope are all in the same sports club. Aris, Red Star, Panathinaikos, all basketball teams but also have football teams. So the same fans supporting the football club go and support other sports witnin the club, basketball included.

The american ignorance is so scary!

In most of Europe basketball is non-existant. The Balkans, Greece, Lithuania are the exceptions. In those countries basketball is on the level of football in terms of popularity and fanaticism. I love the rabies assessment. Seems accurate.

Well, non-existent. Being from Germany I gotta say Central Europe has caught up (although people in Germany or France are bit more laid back). You definitely forget Spain tho. They have the best domestic league in Europe for a reason.

@@samuelpinder1215 yeah, the BBL really is not on the level of the rest of the continent, but we'll see how it develops with ULEB actively pushing the agenda.

America is young as a country it was formed around 1800s...... lots of teams in it are not even 50 years old.... some of these teams are almost that much old if not more.... those fans for the teams are not only for football or basketball teams but for TEAM usually from average team there are for every sport...... They say that European fans live for their teams..... but it is much more then that.
