Dimash is from Kazakhstan and the song is in French. He currently sings in 12-14 languages but only speaks Kazak, of course, Russian, and is learning English and Mandarin. Creating a playlist is right, but I couldn't tell what to play next because every song he sings is beyond outstanding. Since Dimash is new to you, I would suggest that you begin with his early years on The Singer 2017 and he was 22 yrs. old then. He was invited to participate in a Chinese singing competition and was the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the history of the show. The others were 12-39 yrs. his senior. He finished second, only because they felt they had to have the most beloved Chinese sing to win 1st place. Wherever you begin your musical journey if Dimash, you will not be disappointed. Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin). He plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZread channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for his most recent song and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash from a loyal "Dear" (fandom name given to us by Dimash, because we are dear to him like his family). He has fan clubs in 132 countries. BTW, I fear you may get dragged a bit for stopping the video before the song was over.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. And Dimash is never finished singing until he is completely finished. He does this all the time, as you will find out. He will leave you hanging in the wind, breathless. After you have been following him for a while, you will see the clues he gives us to show that he has completed the song he's singing. A great example of this is when he sings "Adai & Daididau" at his very first solo Concert called "Bastau". He performed it in his homeland of Kazakhstan for 30,000 audience in attendance. You got his name right and Dimash is the greatest vocalist in a thousand years, musical Scholar's said a voice like his only comes around once in a thousand years or more I believe it his sung range G0-D8 that's 7.7 octaves and range is only one attribute voice control, microphone control, emotive, stage presence, climbing octaves up and down with ease and no apparent transition. The Love of Tired Swans at New Wave 2019, Screaming from the Idol Hits tv show, Olimpico from Igor Krutoy's channel (he composed the song for Dimash to sing at the European Olympics 2019), Ikanaide from the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2021, anything from his Dimash Digital Show online concert 2021 during quarantine is in a Playlist on Dimash's KZread channel, etc. Realize that Dimash has many songs that are beautifully sung where vocal gymnastics are not required such as If I Never Breath Again, and many others. His Music Videos are superb works of art especially his latest The Story of One Sky (3 years of his work composing the musical, writing the script, acting as the protagonist and singing the song as soundtrack of the film). Might want to hear his older repertoire before this last masterpiece. The Dears (his fans) will have a giant list for you. His many singles and two albums are on Spotify and all other streaming platforms.

It is amazing how people have now found John Farnham or Farnsy as we in Oz call him. He is a living legend here and unfortunately there were no Reaction videos in the 80s. Without complicating things too much, have you heard Hua Chenyu. He is another extraordinary entertainer, very special, very unique and just so creative. Start with Nunchucks, a cover of a rap song, completely changed and you can really see his stage presence. His fans called Martians will fill you in, but know he had a very difficult childhood which affected him greatly. Thanks for all this. See you in the next one.

Agree. You cannot really be into the song if you stop before the end. It's like a rush job and disrespectful to the artist. Pausing should be done as little and as quickly as possible and not during the most pivotal moments. Annoying x 10. Thanks for mentioning it.

@@skirk9184 I'm ok with the pausing during the song. Each person reacts and comments however they want. But cutting the last note and not coming back to it leaving the song unfinished is what I referred to. Specially with Dimash... he can surprise you even in the very last second.

Dimash has an amazing range, flexibility, and a beautiful tone, but two or three songs in a row if all that brilliance is my limit. There's a Turkish singer, Cem Adrian, (pronounced Gem) you would like I think. 'Summertime' is a good introduction.

I am absolutely addicted to Dimash and the emotions he transmits for 4 years now, I listen to him every day for hours and it's never enough. I have attended 6 solo concerts already and have tickets for more. There is nobody in the world like him for me. He is my soul healer.
