This version of this great classic was epic. I think this version is the best. John’s voice so versatile, can adapt to any genre John can do it. This was one of a few encore songs from a two hour concert and John still has so much energy and voice still perfect. And everyone is having so much fun. Awesome performance from everyone.

John is the GOAT! Love your honest, thoughtful reactions to our beloved John. He is part of the family. He has been taken back to hospital with a severe respiratory infection after already having 11hr surgery to remove part of his jaw due to mouth cancer late last year. We are all praying for John's recovery from this latest health setback. Much love from Australia 🇦🇺💕

John Farnham is that one person who goes beyond music. The love we feel for John goes beyond being just fans. He is part of our lives and part of our families and has been forever. We found out a couple of days ago that he is back in hospital with a respitory infection and we are all now collectively wishing him a speedy recovery ❤️ BTW. I have shared this reaction to a fan page that I know he and his family looks at sometimes. So hopefully he will see your message. ❤

Oh no! You left off the grand finish!! The pause you ended on is followed by the whole band and orchestra going even more insane!! There may or may not be an instrument destroyed, but you'll have to watch the end to find out. I was side-on to the orchestra at this concert, and it was joyful. You could tell the orchestra were having the time of their lives! No one slept that night.

Yes you are right apart from the phenomenal voice he has such a great connection with the fans they are up dancing having the time of their life. Just look at the musician's smiling and the conductor showing how much fun they are having. Band and singers been with him for ages great bond with them like family to John great relationship. Live on stage you don't just see the singer you get the man his wonderful personality shines through his banter with the fan's connection with them his yes fun playful side. What you see is what you get with John humble, down to earth kind, caring, loving man no ego at all a mate you could go to the pub with, normal guy next door man. Apart from his phenomenal voice x wonderful music we connect with the man and his voice and music. How he sings the lyrics so much soul, heart ,passion and emotion in every song. Music is for all ages, religions it can make you happy and sad. John Farnham is my therapist he takes me to my happy place and makes the world and life a little easier to cope with when life is getting me down and struggle day to day he is my escape. Music/ John is my meditation and John touches a lot of people with his voice music and amazing personality. Thing is with John he is so humble he doesn't realise how good he is. 🇬🇧 Farnsey Fan 🇬🇧

This one is such fun, love how the whole band/orchestra come together even the backing groups get down and interact with the audience. Later in his career he and the great Tom Jones did an Australian Tour together....now that is something to see. Sending much love and gratitude from Sydney, Australia.

Great reaction, as always. This was the second encore, last song of the concert and he brought the roof down, so much fun. Years later, when I got the DVD, it was so cool to see how much fun the orchestra were having, I guess they didn't get to do music like that every day. Did you see when John was playing that tambourine and he literally bounced it off the floor and caught it? So John. Thank you for this. ❤

Spectacular reaction and merging into the family! WELCOME... from one American to another. We can't help but love this amazing man and such world-class Aussie talent and heart. A shout-out to AC/DC. Their song is fire and with John and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and friends it is a conflagration! So many Australian performers need to be more widely experienced. Their talents, like precious opals in depth, coloration, and variations, are treasure that needs to be brought further into the light.

Never overlook the production. ohn's backers are supreme (mark that word) talents in their own right. Lisa Edwards, Lindsey field, Venetta Fields (backed for the Supremes) and the Southern Sons lead singer have backed for him, add the writing talent that surrounds him. He respects and honours them all and like previous vids is never afraid to humble himself.

Good pick up with the bagpipes mate, in the original ACDC Long Way To The Top, Bon Scott 'plays' the bagpipes(some say he was playing, some say he was faking), they are on the back of a truck going up the main street in Melbourne, well worth the watch. From a 61 yo who has seen John perform 6 times, this was his best concert, and I wasn't even there.
