70 year old Army here. Jimin is the shadow for Jung Kook and Suga. J-hope is the shadow for RM. All you have to do is Google it.

Black swan is about the fear of the members about losing their passion for their music. It was inspired from a phrase of a famous dancer "A dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing and this first death is the more painful "Martha Graham. Is going to take a little while to memorize the members, but with time you guys are going to start recognizing their voices, trust me, I'm completely tone deaf and just after a few months following them it came naturally for me. (Now is been 3 years since I stumbled upon them, I can't say that I know everything about BTS yet, and I'm still discovering something new often, but is never disappointing)

This song mean a lot to armys. It's such a masterpiece. The lyrics, the visuals, the beat, the dance moves everything is perfect.

Jimin is the one that dances more contemporary and JHope is the one who street dances and makes up moves. The one you were talking about is Jimin. Jimin also has the "angel" voice and sings as a tenor.

jimin was first in hiphop/street dance at age 11😂 He even competes and WON few competitions. since Jimin wont settle and wanted to learn MORE about dance.. He joined contemporary dance later. BTS had PRO DANCE CHOREOGRAPHERs ,that gives them choreos . Jhope is the Dance leader .. Jimin And Jhope are BOTH dance TEACHERS in the group.

The bare feet is from contemporary dance where it's a regular occurrence. Jimin did all of the solo dance work as well as the shadows except for RM's (that was J-Hope) . I couldn't tell if you were talking about V's voice (the one who was looking down at the camera) or Jimin's who came right after. Jimin's is the higher pitch and was while he was doing a solo segment. They both have very distinct sounds, which I love. I'm not sure if you were talking about flipping during choreo, but that's Jimin. He can do aerials and other hands free jumps in part because of his martial arts background.

Yup Jimin (set me free) is the dancer at the start and doing much of the solo dance. He is Suga’s shadow and JHope is RM’s shadow. Jimin is the one with a contemporary dance background as well as Hip Hop. Both Jimin & JHope are the main dancers. This is another BTS classic. It gets better and better as you listen to it more. 💜

As said, the one doing the individual dance, blue hair is Jimin... Doing contemporary dance, not the one free styling dance stree(JHope)

Yay, Black Swan, one of my top favorites. Such a masterpiece. And I love that R&B vibe. “Home” is great too. There’s no music video but they performed it on Jimmy Fallon and it might as well had been a music video. Jimmy Fallon had a BTS week during pandemic.

I love this song so much. And yeah BTS does so so many different genres and styles of music, it's amazing the variety they have. Also there is a dance practice for this one too 👀

The other dancer (the one who was a street dancer) is JHope… he’s one of the 3 rappers. In this video, he appears as the dancing shadow on the curtain behind the first rapper at the very beginning of the video. In this video, he’s the rapper with the brown hair.

The dance practice for this and LIVES are a must. They change it for every performance. The version from the Permission to Dance Tour is amazing. An art piece. Black Swan is based on a famous quote by Martha Graham and the ballet Swan Lake. "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” What happens if you lose your passion? In Swan Lake there are 2 swans. One black/evil and one white/good, in most modern performances it is danced by the same dancer(one of the hardest dances) it symbolizes the struggle within oneself between the light and the dark. BTS did a whole series of songs about the shadowself. One of my faves. 😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫰🏻

ON isn't really a commercial song, although it might come across as one. They released 3 full English songs during the pandemic, Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance. All 3 were songs meant to comfort and support ARMY, so they made them more commercial, so that they would reach more people. Of course, it also had the effect of US radios finally playing their music since it was all English. However, those 3 songs are much less like their typical music than ON. With their Korean songs, they release songs that have genuine messages in them, like ON's theme of "You can't hold me down". This is only the 2nd group song that you've heard from them, though, so you'll see what I mean as you react to more of their music.

actually very suprised they didn't like ON as much. not because of taste or style of music, but because the composition and the different types of music that one song incorporates and the grand scale of the performance itself - you don't see that in music from anyone but BTS now. and ON has stayed in my top 3 bts title tracks since it's released i hold it to such a high standard (also i know this doesn't directly correlate to your comment but i just wanted to share my thoughts about ON somewhere 😭)

BTS songs is deep and we get to know them on a personal level when we listen to the lyrics. i have never formed a connection like that to any other artist. kpop groups don´t write their own lyrics and even those who do, is not allowed to speak about things like this or mental health. they write about love and other save topics, but that´s not real. not all can be happy or in love all the time. and it gets boring and fake. that´s why BTS is special to me and army. even BTS have songs about love but it´s never dominant and they often take "love" and turn into something unhealthy like they talk in fake love and truth untold. it´s the love for yourself that is most important before you can love others. something they really helped me realize.

You should watch Jimin’s solo behind the scenes of his dancing in this MV he is sooo good 👍🏻🔥

The first verse are Suga and RM. The second verse is J-hope (the street dancer) and Suga again. The one whose voice you like is V. The live performances of this song are beautiful, where you can see the full choreography. My favorite is the one on James Corden, but a reaction to that might be blocked. It's safer to react to the dance practice.

Jimin is the one with the unique voice. He is the one that majored in contemporary dance. Jhope is the more street dancer. Jimin also is the one that sang "Set me free". Wasn't that song one of your favorites?

The blue haired guy is Jimin but he wasn't the street dancer. The street dancer is JHope. Jimin has a background in contemporary dance and martial arts, and was later trained in street dance.

Black Swan is what made me go down the BTS rabbit hole in 2020!

Definitely in my Top 5 favorite BTS songs/MVs. It's deep and a bit dark, smooth with solid beats. I get R&B vibes for sure. Jimin really incorporated his Contemporary Dance style into it as well. Imo they're the best at showcasing each member individually then bring it all together as a group. 💜✨

Let me clarify a few comments that you made that were incorrect: You made the statement when Jimin was performing his straight line that he was a street dancer. That's incorrect- J-Hope is the street dancer but Jimin has learned street dance and contemporary/ modern dance. Jimin studied Contemporary/ Modern dance at the Busan School of Art. The fluidity in moment makes them all open to different style of dances and I myself am impressed with all of them. Keep your great videos, I appreciate you guys. Reactions Needed to See: 3 Reactions I need to see from you guys to see a real BTS performance: 1. 2019 MMA Full video Performance, 2. Let me start by saying, the dancer you pointed out: is Jimin. The guy who sang Set me free pt 2. He is an excellent contemporary dancer but is also great at hip hop. Though he could totally make moves too, the one you were talking about is J-hope, the sunshine rapper who’s origin is street dancing. The singer you stopped at was V. It might help to know all their names. It makes for sharper comments etc. Youve just started to listen to them. Comparing their songs is a bit of a futile exercise, though you do you, because all if their songs are so unique and their discography has some 250 (probably more) songs across all credits. Another really enjoyable reaction. You two are quickly rising as favorites. You’ll hear it alot but it’s very true no two BTS songs are going to be alike they do so many styles and the consistency is the quality of the lyrics/singing/rapping/dancing. It’s why we never get bored or know what to expect next. This song is especially moving to anyone who has feared losing their passion.

Just took a tour of this theater Saturday, it was amazing

This is their song about what happens when they lose their passion for music, hence their first death. Almost all their songs are about storylines and it’s deeper than you think.

Aside from hip hop, popping, isolations, martial arts, and jazz- Jimin (the one w blue hair doing all the solo parts) is a contemporary dancer and it’s super common for them to be barefoot. And he steals the damn show.
