No, the guy wasn’t thinking 10 000, he was thinking “I’m going to go a bit higher than whatever price he suggests” lol

Dude was def not thinking of his dad. He just used that as a bargaining chip. Throughout this episode, he just felt sleazy and nickle and dimed Mike to the point Mike actually looked annoyed and was going to leave.

ONLY 10K would do justice to my dad. I'm going to dig up his coffin and put it in. It's NOT for myself.
Frank's face at 1:54.. he's thinking I would have offer $3,200.. and worked up to $4,000..😆
Great show ! We Brazilians people love Mike & Frank, American Pickers! From Rio Brazil !
I love when they find vintage toys, oil cans, and globes
For that kinda money and the way he was holding it even I was getting nervous.
It's a RED HAT GLOBE!!!!!! 🤣 love how excited mike was. 👍
I'm in the wrong business apparently.
I never would’ve guessed in 1000 years 9000 bucks for that wow.
Dude was a good salesman, fired right back with bigger offer, way to go.
These are the picks that I like.
Mike pitched a tent when he found the globe 😂😂😂
Mike needs to not show how much he likes the stuff sometimes. Haha. 🇨🇦

Noone has any idea what I'd give to meet Mike, Frank, Danielle and Mike's brother. This is the only show I watch and look forward to. If I ever get the money I want to drive up from Oklahoma and meet these guys. Mike if you and Frank ever come back to Oklahoma let me know I'll meet you and I'll buy lunch. I'm serious. Beautiful globe but severely overpriced. Who is to blame for such inflated prices, seller or buyer
@nix10kodeey
5 жыл бұрын
How is it inflated? It's called supply and demand. Just because you don't want to collect globes doesn't mean other people don't.
@ArtVandelayOfficial
Жыл бұрын
It's just like any market, there's so many mega wealthy collectors looking for these pieces so naturally the prices rise
Seems a risky purchase because so fragile, easily broken.

I used to like this show but I’ve really tired of the show and these two, especially Franky. Besides if you read how the show is setup, it takes away the fun. Really not fun at all.
fake
I hate when people blame being uptight and cheap on “my father would have wanted me to sell it for that much”. They’re literally just belongings and it’s yours now. It’s not like your dad worked for that oil company or something come on…
