I’m old and disabled, certainly not affluent and rarely able to get out and enjoy life. In my eighth decade of living, I haven’t driven for years now but I enjoy watching Mike and Frank buying and selling ANYTHING. They amuse me, enlighten me and often feature Danielle who is a real favorite of mine. Great fun guys! This show is why I watch this channel!

American Pickers with Mike and Frank amuses, entertains, and often enlightens me regarding items and/or issues I’ve never had the time, energy or even the inclination to consider. The series is fun, Danielle is GREAT and the show is the reason I began to watch this channel at all. I truly hope the show is at least in some way as enjoyable to be part of as it is to watch. That would be great!

from what i understood the motorcycle was both theirs and they were going to split the profit. mike fell in love with the truck , frank tried staying quiet and not show that he really didnt want the truck . i assume they had worked it out prior to buying it.

I absolutely love this truck and the flat green paint also the vintage leather just ties everything together beautifully I'm hey antique truck lover this one is definitely a truck I would love to have and I think it's a great price because it's turn key ready to go I didn't see anything but it needed just beautiful

The Indian motorcycle is and always will be worth more than the truck.😎

People forget Mike collects motorcycles and has several Indian motorcylces in his collection, ones older and in better condition. So for him he basically traded off a double and in return got a vintage truck, upgraded and customized the way he would of done it. The vintage leather interior alone probably cost 2-5000.

If it had a supercharger sleeve motor I understand 40

The editing is all over the place. They get off of the 5 at Sunland, pass the Yoshinoya and pull into the garage at the old (old) crow speed shop *4* miles south. Sorry, I used to be from that area.

Your thinking the plastic dip type of guys. Flat paint jobs are much harder to apply properly. You cant sand and buff a clear coat every little detail shows.

The truck is ten times better and safer

James Leathers flatheads are sweet but they are super expensive to rebuild and you can only get max 250hp and that’s dumping tens of thousands into it. They are the prettiest motor out there though

The seller owed him 30k for the bike but wanted to trade the truck for 40k. Therefore, mike just had to add 10k

It seems like a dream to me where Wives, have 0 input in to their business finances. Ah what a life that must be.

mike got a really nice turnkey truck and the other guy got a piece of rusty junk thats unreliable
