Truthfully, the US aircraft carriers receive all the headlines, but the one type of ship in the US Navy you don't want to mess with is their submarine fleet.

Yes Martin I got the name wrong , but I have now changed it to USS Virginia . I must say it was a spectacular sight of her entering Portsmouth harbour here in the UK . I have been waiting for her to leave but there has been nothing in the newspapers saying when

It's very stealthy apart from the sinister violin soundtrack.

As submariners they should have about faced at the harbour entrance to salute the old home of the RN submarine service HMS Dolphin, I'll forgive them though as their American's and wouldn't be expected to know that.

@david edbrooke-coffin Agreed...I can remember having a pint with a RN nuclear propulsion expert years ago who said Trawsfynydd was far more dangerous.

What happens if the guys standing on it fall off and into the water? I imagine it's very slippery?
