I visited NYC once and it happened to be a heatwave with 110 degree days and if you were near a building at night it was still like 80 degrees. At least in Dallas you can find a rattlesnake to kill you to take you out of your misery. NYC is cruel it won't kill you just empty your wallet and make you beg for someone hopped up on bathsalts to eat your body

I thought New York summers were bad until I visited Dubai. Up to 50°C is a different beast.

I don't fucking know who on earth can possibly not love Rachel Maddow and anyone who does not enjoy her is not a legitimate human.

@@user-wg7nw3mh2e actually I don't mind her at all, but the formatting of her show has way too much Watergate and wonk padding masquerading as currently relevant information, much of which is entirely ineffective in the current Boomer hellworld.

Damn bro.. you don't know southern California heat .. like not LA... More closer to the border... Look up Imperial Valley.. we get heatwaves as high at 124°... And in the 100s in the night.. I remember working on a roof (I work in construction) and the afternoon got up to 120°.. it got so hot.. we had to work from 3 am to 2 pm cause it would be too stupidly hot.

Yep, fortunately those are localized. To parts of Sam Diego. The mountain ranges definitely get hotter. I live near la Mesa for a while and it was at least 7 ish degrees hotter than closer to the coast

I'm from Vegas originally and literally moved 3000k miles to the east but am still in the exact same latitude as I was as a kid and my God I thought Vegas 115 degree summers were hard but they are nothing in comparison to the 90% humidity here in NC. I flew home to visit family in 13 in June and it was 109 outside but only 8% humidity AND IT FELT GREAT!!!!!

And Trump isn't even asking Congress to raise the federal minimum wage. Also labor rights, the IMF and World Bank require borrowers to get rid of labor rights.
